My first college boyfriend was a Pi Kappa Phi, which lead to a serious infatuation with the entire chapter. Then I was a cradle robber and dated a guy fresh out of h.s. for a few months, but I was mostly single all through college. Until I met my husband my senior year. He was an ATO at a different school (in a completely different state) and an older man (by 2.5 years). I SO wanted to be lavaliered during school, but alas, that was not to be. . . :)

My last serious bf was a Theta Chi. I'm single now but he happens to be my best friend. Love that boy to death and his fraternity too (they a small chapter, they even call me their "theta chi girl" :D ). Other than that all my other bf's in the past have been non-greek.

My boyfriend is a Sigma Nu. He's the only Greek I've ever dated, though. :)

My boyfriend is an SAE. He went to a different school than me in Illinois. He is 6 years older than me and we have been together for 4 months. I really wanted to be lavaliered in college too!

My first serious boyfriend went Pi Kappa Alpha at University of Maryland. My second boyfriend was/is a Deke at Syracuse. My boyfriend now is a GDI, which I liked at first because my last boyfriend used his fraternity as an excuse to be scummy. However, now that I've been with him for a while now, I miss having someone who understands the whole greek thing :(

[hyjack] Masha...and I got a problem with AEPi??? ;) [/hyjack] I have hooked up with one AEPi and one ZBT but havent dated any greek men.....yet.

As an undergraduate I got pretty serious with one terrific Theta but that didn't work out. I dated a couple of Pi Phis on a more or less good buddy basis (both great gals but we were not really anxious to get serious), an intense summer and fall with a Phi Mu, and several somewhat casual datings with Delta Zetas, Alpha Phis, one Chi O, one Kappa, and a few GDIs. In the Army I had a pretty serious dating relationship with a German girl who was at Heidelberg and whose brother was in a Student Korps (duelling fraternity) called "die Junkerkorps fur Deutche Heer", while she was in their "Ladies Organization" (Fraulinen studentenbund I think). In the UK I developed a strong friendship with a girl who was at Sommerville College, Oxford who belonged to a Dining Club which is very similar to our GLO system. All in all, I tended to hang around with Greek girls or their equivalent overseas. In Law School I have been up to my eyeballs in work so while there are plenty of really bright and great looking women I have tended to keep things away from complications. I'm not sure how long that policy is going to last as I transition back to student status now that I am back from Reserve call up.

I've only ever dated one guy in a fraternity he was a Theta Chi and I was a GDI at the time but then I switched schools and we dont have such a great greek life at my school so yeah...lol altough the Theta Chi and I still talk alot we are just to far apart now...oh well

I dated a ZBT for a little over a year and was sort of seeing/dating an AEPi for the 3 or 4 months before that. I've hooked up with a Sammy, an APD and an AEPi from another chapter. The only problem is in our small Greek system is when you break up with a guy in one fraternity and start dating a guy in another it sometimes causes a little drama.

I definitely at this point prefer dating greeks though because they understand what is all about. The last guy I dated definitely didn't like the fact that I was in a sorority because I think he thought it was very imature. I was/am chapter president organizing various events and planning a large scale reunion -- that's really a sign of immaturity!!

My boyfriend, Shea, is in Alpha Chi Sigma, the chemistry fraternity (which actually operates like a social) at Hampden-Sydney College.
I have one ex who is a Phi Mu Alpha and one who is a Chi Phi.

I've been dating a VERY handsome Sigma Chi for almost two years! Prior to that, I have dated a Kappa Alpha and a Pi Kappa Alpha.

Xylochick216 01-26-2004 01:43 AM

My fiance is a GDI, which sucks sometimes because he doesn't understand "the whole Greek thing." I think he's just gotten to the point where he smiles and nods and pretends to understand :)

My current boyfriend would have rather died than be in a fraternity in college! In the past though I dated a Phi Delta Theta, a Sigma Nu (was lavaliered and Sweetheart for EN), a Tau Kappa Epsilon, and a Phi Sigma Kappa. I had major crushes on some FIJIs and Lamba Chi Alpha's...and some in a local fraternity called Lone Star! Hmmm the only ones I didnt crush on or date at Akron were Phi Kappa Tau, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Delta Tau Delta, and Theta Chi.

My husband was the same way. But he was in the Marines, so I always say that the USMC is his fraternity! :D

I'm currently dating a Sigma Nu....

In the past, I've dated a TKE, a Sigma Nu (from another chapter in which I was lavaliered), a TKE, a Lambda Chi, a Phi Delt, a Sigma Nu, and a FIJI.

Just a disclaimer.....no I didn't bounce from brother to brother like it looks....that is over a span of 4 years and the first TKE was an alumni who had been out for quite a while, and my current Sigma Nu is also an alumni.....;)
