What???? The Camel Toe song isn't sheer brilliance??? Sob... :) I'm sorry but most any pop/rap star can hardly be called brilliant because 1) They usually don't write even the lyrics for their songs 2) They have little to no musical training and 3) Most are "created" by some major label to make $$$$. Occasionally there are shining stars (Norah Jones, recently. Even if you hate her, at least she writes her own songs!!) but for the most part things sound more and more alike. That's not to say that some singers can't be "enjoyable" but from a musical standpoint, they kind of suck. I agree w/ what everyone on this thread has said thus far, the exception being (of course) the person who started this thread.

I LOVE this song!! Last year I had one of my 6th graders tell me how much they love/admire Eminem and how they are so like (coming from a kid who is quite wealthy and rural...) ..so..this was a VERY welcomed rap song by Nas!!

On the 50 cent issue..umm...he's a phase...that's all. I highly doubt he's going to be around here next year. He'll more than likely get shot due to his grammatical errors and etc from some disgruntled elementary teachers pissed off by their state's test scores...

On the Julia issue, she made a mistake and has taken heat for it. We've all been in the same situation...I know I have :p She's (hopefully) learned her lesson and has already been reamed by her lovely sisters. :)

I have to say I like 50 cent. He's not my Em, but every song he comes out with I can listen to without turning off the radio.
