Welcome, PNMsMom!
It is wonderful that you're taking such an active interest in your daughter's rush experience and I hope you share it with us on here since we're all self-proclaimed rush-story junkies! :) Are you a member of a sorority? (If you would rather not say which one, that's ok :) ) |
PNMsMOM good luck with rush! It is great you are helping your daughter with gathering information. It is a stressful time, and having the support of your family really makes the difference.
OSU has a great greek system. A lot of my friends from high school went to Ok State. My best friend was in the Gamma Phi Beta house up there. And her sister was a Theta. Both great houses! But I think they are one of the lucky schools with all strong groups. At least a few years back that was true. Also check the mandated residency for each house. Some girls really don't mind being required to live at the house for three years. But some want the absolute minimum. I think most of their groups require two or three years residency. Might make a difference. Wish we had Alpha Gams at OSU. But we have great chapters at OU and UCO! Good Luck Again!!:D |
okay...to back track a bit...I just found out that recruitment information for my school can not be released until I am ON campus and have signed up for it....
Seems strange, but at least I know why I couldn't find any answers! |

hey LuaBlanca...
I don't know if it would be any help, but my aunt went to Emerson (as did my mother), and was in a sorority there. I don't know what the National is there, but I'm assuming she was in the local (Kappa something, right?) Although she was there in the mid/late-60's, maybe she would know something useful about greek life at Emerson. If you'd like, I can e-mail her and ask if she'd be willing to answer any questions you might have (I'm sure she'd love to, her daughter went greek and as soon as I started school she asked me if I was going to as well). Leave me a reply or a PM if you're interested. -Jamie |
