She is very pretty. But, Big is not looking too hot. He looks like he got drunk the night before, got into a barfight, had a beer bottle smashed over his head, fell down a flight of steps, and woke up in the bathtub.

Lmao

Was it just me, or was Berger on point with the hat comment? That chit had me hollering.

Samantha was off the hook as usual............

I really believe that Harry had every right to be offended. She went WAYYYYYYYYYYYY to far.

Re: Lmao

I think Charlotte wants to be married, just so she can say that is married. She is love with the idea of marriage. I think Harry was right in dumping her. Charlotte has to have things always her way.

Harry was right. Charlotte would be saying for the rest of their life, I gave up Jesus for you. And what man wants to hear that every single day.

"He isn't into you" - dang, the truth hurts.

I agree that Harry had a right to be offended: a VERy big right. However, I think that if he was truly considering marrying her and had bought a ring then dumping her was a bit over the top. I mean, you were gonna spend you life with her, but dump her over something, albeit a very hurtful something, that she said while angry and hurt. That just seems a bit extreme to me. I mean, how often do you find someone you want to marry. I think it would have made more since to deal with the underlying issue- not dump the issuee (if thats even a word).

Samantha is so far off the chain..I can't even begin.

The scrunchie thing was hilarious and true. Women in Houston (where I'm from) don't even wear scrunchies in public. But the hat was OOOOOOOGLY, I rolled when he said that.

Oooh maaaan! I can't wait for that long!

Last night's episode was a trip. lmao at Miranda's date with diarrhea.

He was hurt by the comment. I think the underlying issue was going to be Charlotte trying to get the upperhand by throwing out she gave up her religion for him. That marriage would had never worked because everytime she wanted to get her way or they had an argument, the "I gave up Jesus, therefore, you should do this for me" would had been her response. Men do not want to hear everyday what you gave up. Religion is a individual choice. If he wasn't going to marry her because she wasn't Jewish and he wasn't even a practicing Jew, then Charlotte should had seen the light and dumped him. Changing your religion to please a man is not the way to get a man to marry you. Charlotte really didn't want to a Jew. She only did it to get marry. Never change your personal beliefs for a man. If he can't accept you for what you are, then he doesn't deserve you.

I think the real underlying issue is that Harry is much more easy going in terms of his religion than Charlotte is. Anyone who has watched this show would know that Charlotte never does anything half way. It's either all or nothing, Judaism included. Meanwhile, Harry is much more relaxed about being Jewish, maybe because he was raised that way. For him to dump her was the wrong move, IMO. They really should have discussed it first.

Berger was so on point about that ugly hat that it wasn't even funny...OMG!!!!

I thought it was really funny that Charlotte just converted, and BOOM she gets dumped. She was wrong for coming at my man Harry like that, damn I like him, so does this mean that he won't be on the show anymore?

snuggles12 07-17-2003 10:29 AM

I hope they bring him back.

And I hope Charlotte "stops trying to get married" (i.e., becoming Jewish). If a man won't marry you because you are not Jewish, then you don't need to marry that man. No man is worth giving up your religion.

Tonight's episode

(Early report since I have digital cable and HBO East. :p )

Well, maybe Carrie lorded it over Berger with the Prada, but Berger was still acting like a punk. Sac up, Jack, and accompany your woman on the red carpet. Remember, Big lurks in the wings.

"Smith Jerrod?" WTF? Even though I don't like Sam with little boys, she provides great comic relief.

Anthony, Charlotte's buddy, would fit in beautifully on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. But if she truly is trying to figure out life w/o the husbandperson and babypeople, that's a good thing. I can relate a bit.;)

Once again, I am struggling with Miranda and Steve. I still think she should be with a more dynamic, less nebbishy guy.

I agree Berger needs to stop acting like a punk, and stand by his womans side. Ok, and am I the only one that thinks he needs to shave? I am so not feeling that grunge look, or whatever look he is going for with his face. He just looks dirty to me.

I don't know, for some reason, I really like Steve and Miranda together. I did feel bad for her though when she had already volunteered to help with the cupcakes only to find out they were for Debbie. I think miranda needs to stop being a punk and just tell ole boy how she feels....damn already.

Exquisite5 07-22-2003 02:47 PM

I agree. Miranda needs to just do the do and tell Steve how she feels.

Berger needs to get a grip, be a man and get a razor.

Gina1201 07-27-2003 09:53 PM

Well Carrie and Berger are through, think Big will be making a comeback now?

LADY_1908 07-27-2003 10:07 PM

Someone get me a tissue....

I LOVED the scene with Harry & Charlotte....it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet.

As for Carrie, althougth I can't stand her character...DANG don't nobody deserve that....a POST-IT:confused: That was messed up.
