I saw a commercial for this and they showed the host revealing the checks to him...so is the cat out of the bag and putting a new twist on things?

That should be coming next week, as we haven't seen that part yet. It would seem that Paige will spill the beans to him....hmmm, the plot thickens!

I haven't really been watching, but here are my little info tidbits about the show.

Kelly is from my hometown and went to my high school. I don't know her or anything, but they write little blurbs about her practically every day in the paper and she seems like a total snob. I guess she's good at keeping her contract though, because the most recent article says that even her own mother doesn't know the results of the show yet.

Also, for anyone who watched the very first episode, remember Kirsten? She was my sister's college roommate, and I know her very well. She originally agreed to do the show because the format was supposed to be "Around the World in 80 Dates", a traveling date show. But then, we went to war and the network decided all that traveling probably wasn't a good idea, so they changed the format to this Bachelor/Joe Millionaire ripoff. Interesting, eh? :)

well, I'm glad Laura's gone... I didn't like her from the start.

Paige is just ridiculously smitten... but I think her intentions are the best out of all of them.

Honestly though -- why don't they seem to see that he has the personality of a wet mop?

This is the first time I've watched the show and I only saw the last fifteen minutes. The first girl he picked seems kind of genuine...but maybe that's just a sweet facade.

Let's discuss EPISODE #4!

so Lauren is gone, and Rob the wet mop has been enlightened to the million bucks! Things should start to get interesting. I think he will cut Erin next only because she is kind of uncertain, whereas, Kelly and Paige are "sure things". I think Kelly will win this thing (if you want to consider getting Rob to pick you as "winning" :rolleyes: ) LMAO.

Old Prediction:
My prediction is that evil Kelly and Erin will be the final two standing. But we'll see......I think blondie (Lauren) will get the boot next week, then Paige.

New Prediction:
My prediction is that evil Kelly and Paige will be the final two standing. I think he'll cut Erin next, only because she is sort of ambiguous to him. I think Evil Kelly will be the one that Rob picks.

I think he will pick Kelly and the runner up will be Erin -- not Paige.

I think he will simply realize that Paige is in fact too young for him.

Even though Rob is no prize, Paige is so "in love" with him, I would want her to win because she seems sweet, but I think he will pick Kelly

Episode #5 - let's discuss...
 

So he has chopped Kelly and it's down to Erin and Paige. I will have to revamp my predictions, because I am not doing so well. I think he may pick Paige only so that he can get the $1 million bucks (she is much more of a sure thing than Erin is).

New(est) Prediction:
I think Paige will be the one that Rob picks so that he can get his hands on a million fat ones.

Okay- I was very shocked that he gave Kelly the boot.

I also think he might pick Paige because he said Kelly was the sexiest, Erin was the most beautiful, and Paige was the best.

In his mind I am sure he is thinking that if he picks Paige, she will definitely pick him over the money- that way he can get a million dollars. Paige seems like a sweetheart and completely in love with Rob- so it would be nice if he ends up picking her because he really LIKES her, and not for the money.

In two weeks, they are going to show For Love or Money 2!!!! The tables turn and its the woman picking and choosing. Anyone know who it is??

If he didn't pick her, they are at least still buddies. He was seen outside the courtroom where she was arraigned on DUI charges in Dallas on June 18. Coincidence? Or maybe he was just offering his legal support? Hmmmmm.

Really? How delicious! I did not see the ads for it, were they on during For Love or Money I? I'll be tuning in.....most definitely.

And yes, for the sake of goodness in the world, I hope he picks Paige because he likes her back, not because of the $1million big ones.

Yes, i only saw the ad run once- and it was at the end of the show. It was when they were announcing the two hour finale for next week- then they said "in two weeks stay tuned for For Love or Money 2 where the tables are turned.... and you wont believe who it is.....":eek:

so i am dying to know who it is!!!:D
