I like this show so much.

I think it was incredibly tacky for Robin to show Elyse that Bible verse. Not a good witness at all. Boooooooooooooooooo.

Yeah I caught that too. TACKY. She needs to go home but her skinny tail just might win. The only person giving her grief is Tyra. Tyra said she was too skinny and too pale (LOL @ pale) Adrienne looks like she is on SOMETHING. Ebony is a trip and yes this is a competition but keeping info from the group is wrong and that would have gotten her in big trouble if she showed up by herself. HELLO!!!

Modeling isn't a nice business. Janice Dickinson has been like that for years and years. BTW, she claimed that Sylvester Stallone fathered one of her kids, which was proven false.

I also don't worry about Robin. She'll be fine. She can get catalog work and magazines such as Grace, which tends to pick models from sizes 10-20, which fries people who are larger.

:) Reading the responses from last nights show was hilarious. I think Robin is a beautiful sistah that should be proud of her Afrikan hips and all the rest.

Although I was feelin what Robin was trying to do, there are other ways to witness and that's not the way; especially to a self-proclaimed radical atheist.

I don't like the so called over intelligent, skinnier than a tooth pick, non walking heifer. If she don't think her calling is modeling than get out the competition.

Giselle is pretty she probably would do well in the business. Like Tyra says it's not all about being pretty. Just watch Style network and you'll see that some of those models look like :o

I agree about Robin, I really like her, she seems cool. Witnessing to the witch was great however, with this idiot Elyse, God the father would have to work it, because if Robin heard what she said about her, the natural might override the spiritual. Then Elsy would be a pile of bone and rubbish in the corner

And that oatmeal eating Elyse was doing was straight up and down nutty. She couldn't order veggie lasagna or manicotti or even soup, something on the light side???

Tyra isn't all that to me at all. With her fake boobies, because she sure didn't have that much in Higher Learning. I have more than she did in that movie and im still an A cup:o !

I was like SISTA BETTA GO HEAD AND PRAY!!! She just about had me goin' in myself!!! And when she started singing HOW EXCELLENT??!! I was like, I KNOW THAT'S RIGHT!!!

Now, I don't think Robin was wrong for showing Elyse that verse. I mean, how often is it that you meet an atheist face-to-face? That is an automatic opportunity to witness! The verse was plain as day...A man who says there is no God is a fool. You can't get much more correct than that. That was witnessing at it's best! That was one of those moments where you don't even have to talk....the Word says it all for you. I mean...let's be real. Elyse saw they were reading the Bible. When Robin called her over there, she knew what she was in for. Yet, she still went, and was introduced to one of the most profound verses in the Bible.

And Elyse crying during the prayer? Baby...no matter what she said it was, that was the HOLY SPIRIT!!! Elyse just may get saved before this competition is over.

I just saw the show for the 1st time last night. I'm mad that I missed most of the shows....

Yesterday showed the first and 2nd eps.

I thought about your response and was not going to voice my opinion that is very contrary to yours, but I must because I just could not shake your words.


Let me present you with a loose analogy:

You are at work at a meeting. Tension is thick. There is a disagreement in the meeting that is making the friction fly. You are not necesarily a part of the tension, but you try to stem that tension anyway.

Do you:

A. cut into the meeting SINGING and requesting that everyone pray

B. sit in your chair and pray silently IN YOUR HEAD

C. PRAY later in your office, cubicle, bathroom stall, at home, etc.


Now me I am either going to do B or C. . . You might say well they weren't really at work, they were on a TV show preparing to take their career to the next level. Maybe, but in a sense the prepatory stage is just that -- a job. Robin, if so disturbed by the tension, could have prayed alone or with Kesse and Shannon about the situation.

Yes, God wants us to be a witness, but must we be overbearing with it. :confused:

Now when Robin called Ebony a DEMON -- That was not Christlike.

Being a friend to Elyse and praying for her is a better witness than pointing out bible verses. Elyse is an atheist. Atheists do not believe in the bible. So what good did it do to point out a bible verse to her?

I like Robin and she has a beautiful body but sometimes being a pray warrior is more effective than quoting scriptures.

I have to say, I probably would have taken my own private time too...BUT, this is television...and having conflict is ENGAGING for the viewers...the annorexic/med student wannabee"i am so smart...these other girls are so dumb and unevolved...closet I wish I was more coordinated and comfortable in my skin and beauty is only skin deep...yet, I know I am beautiful...but, I how dare me use my looks to make money "chick" did AUDITION and sign a contract to be to be on the show...could the show have a better character/antagonist?

Giselle gets on my nerves! I think she thinks she has this in the bag. I didn't like her comments about Robin's age. Tyra said "she's a Latina woman, and that's important to me" as to one of the reasons she was selected. Well, she could have chosen a PRETTIER Latina woman! Sheesh! This girl has acne scars and strange eyebrows. Her attitude stinks.

Elyse has got to go. At first I felt sorry for her, but by the end of the second episode I could not stand her high-and-mighty attitude. "Me thinks she doth protest too much."--she wants to win; she's just trying to act like she's "above" all this.

I think Robin looks great and I am happy to see someone in her late 20's and "plus size" (she doesn't look plus size to me) on the show.

And I agree with the earlier comments on Adrienne! What is she ON?! And what's up with the weird hand-gestures and tongue sticking out? She has no class.
