Frat, I don't really get into sci-fi flicks, if you want to know the truth. But I really fell in love with The Matrix. I love everything about it!! I noticed that there are a few movies on this thread that I thoroughly enjoyed. It reminds me of an Inroads workshop we went to in Pre-Collegiate. This dude was talkin' about how "everyone has preferences." I wish y'all coulda been there, it was really funny. That was 12 years ago (dang) and we STILL use that in conversation. Everyone has preferences... Oh, and N4L, I'll PM you about Mulholland Drive. Liked that one, too! Although towards the end, I was like WTF??? We had to get on the internet to get the explanation. |

Undercover Brotherwas a bad movie! People actually were leaving the movie 30 minutes after it began.
|
1) They
2)Darkness Falls (They part II) 3)Vanilla Sky 4)Memento And a host of others that would take ALL day to list lol |
I'm with all of you on Vanilla Sky. You're better off renting the original film that it was based on - Abre Los Ojos. THAT was a good movie!
Stealing Harvard was just poor. Tom Green was funny for two seconds then he just got on my nerves. And the premise does NOT work. This girl has got financial aid coming but they still need 33,000? So they gave her 300 bucks for books? Harvard? THey have about the biggest federal grant ever! I give them credit on the fin aid tip- I have heard no complaints from Harvard headz about their money situation. Oh well. The Ring. THe movie was scary for all of fifteen minutes that I ahd to sit through two long boring hors to get through. IT was like Sixth Sense Redux. Speaking of which.... Sixth Sense - wasn't scared. wasn't that interested either. Blair Witch. THis movie could only have been interesting if you thought it was real or something. Otherwise it was just tedious. See IMO movies that are really BAD can be njoyable simply because they're amusingly awful. I can deal with that. Movies that are just long and boring though.... I can't take. Oh and in closing, I am on the Matrix train! I can't WAIT to see Jada kick arse in the sequel! |
<--------PISSED THAT SHE SAT THROUGH THE MATRIX...AND PAID FOR IT.
