breathesgelatin, it was all her fault.

I found GC back when my son was a senior and I was trying to find out info for fraternity rush since it had been so long since my husband had been through it. I probably was being kind of helicoptery about nosing around, but I was strictly information gathering, not bitching, moaning or complaining :)
Anyway I stayed for the interesting reparte'. I also have a bit of sorority knowledge from my years of rec writing, and my friend's daughters experiences over the last few years, and share what I know with those who are interested. |

Maybe it's because your messages aren't accompanied by a barrage of smilies. The degree of which I read into what people say is inversely proportional to their desire to use emoticons. |
Thank you OTW and Annabella. I wasn't fishing for compliments but, hey, I'll take 'em!

I really don't remember how I found GC, but I'm sure I was searching for something Kappa-related on Google. I stayed because you're all crazy just like me. :p

The active sisters on this board were talking about GC on Sister Circle, so I decided to check it out. I lurked for a while before I made my first post and then decided to join the party. I still have a pretty low post count though relative to my join date. I stayed on the board because I find it rather educational and entertaining.

I was bored one day and typed "Greek Life" into the search engine. I registered, but for some reason it wouldn't let me post. I sent a frantic e-mail to John and he helped me out.
My very first post was in the thread about the new Greek system at University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. Unfortunately, in a later post I made (what I thought) was an offhand comment about the selection system that someone took offense to (on GC???!!! Shocking!). But, it got settled quickly when I explained my OP. |
