Ok, I'm a little older than most of you but I used to LOVE:
Pinwheel You Can't Do That On Television The Little Prince David the Gnome The Little Koala one and there was this cartoon about a boy named Sebastian who had a really big dog......anyone know what I'm talking about? |
The show about the dog was Belle and Sebastian.
I somehow remember that the other hosts of "Don't Just Sit There" were girls - Ally and Wendy. They went to Washington once, and there was a song about "Ally and Wendy went to Washington..." Yesterday I was watching Jenny Jones (I know, I know) and she had a "world premiere" of some really bad singer. And one of her background dancers was one of the girls from Roundhouse...wierd... |
Speaking of Pinwheel (which I thought has a very annoying theme song), anyone remember Simon (another annoying theme song show)?.
Well, hello, my name is Simon and I like to drawings... |

2) You mean Mike Myer's Simon skit on SNL where he was always in a bathtub showing his drawings? |

I think Mike Myers based his skit on the show to which I was referring. I think it was originally british because he said drawings weird.. Maybe my mind just made it up? :) |

It was REALLY cheap and REALLY annoying but it was still my FAVORITE show :) I can still remember specific episodes too...like the one where the mime lady was blowing a bubble for the contest in the newspaper and they snapped a polariod of her miming "blowing the bubble" in the gum...they threw the pic down on a desk as the show ended and the camera stayed on it as it developed and when it was clear enough to see... there was actually a REAL bubble blown out of her mouth... check out this site for more stuff on Pinwheel... :) http://www.geocities.com/rupertdada/forgotte.htm |
I remember the pin wheel episode where they wanted to get that green thing with long nose that lived in the basement to come up to the kitchen and he wouldn't and he had a seashell and he was like "i can hear the beach" and then he had a pot and he was like "i wonder if i put this up to ear If i can hear the kitchen" so he tried.
My name is simon and i like to do drawing is from pinwheel. I totally forgot my favorite show. I forget the name but it was people who worked in a dept. store and at night the manakin would come alive and they would have adventures. |
Whenever life gets you so down
You know you can go down To where the music and the fun never ends As long as the music keeps playing You know what I'm saying I know that I can find a friend... Down at the Roundhouse! http://home.columbus.rr.com/easychaexp/main.htm |
Fifteen was soooo funny. The kids were so dramatic! And so underhanded--what was her name? Brooke? Blair? Something like that....
I also LOVED "My Brother and Me". :D |
Brooke was the isht stirrer on Fifteen. I hated that show for some reason. Poor Ashley and her detention! She's so messed up! I loved Brooke's Canadian accent, though - "I'm sore-ry guys..." lol...
I was seriously obsessed with Roundhouse. I knew all the songs, had most of them on tape...it was kinda scary. I'm mad that they never made a cast recording - I heard that the deal fell through... :( |
