Yeah Dance Team!!!

I was a cheerleader all through elementary and middle school (in my middle school you had to try out)and in high school I was on the dance team and lettered in it. I cheered one year in college and was on the dance team one year. I liked dancing MUCH better.Dancing is just so much fun!!!!My sorority participates in another greek orgs. "Tiger Toss" fundraiser and I cheer on our team. Our uniforms are soooooo cute! They are our sorority colors with our letters in big block letters on them.!!!!I love it!We usually win. One year we placed second, but it was after a big bout of flu that nearly wiped out my whole chapter!!!!

it was hard for me to get motivated for cheerleading. due to the ridiculous lengths of the skirt (just past the knee) and the dancing ban at my school. my school sucked:mad:
however, the football team kicked ass

Cheerleaders are cool. Are way fun to hang out with.

phisigQT 03-14-2003 11:47 PM

dancer: 15 years
cheerleader: 4 years (3 at varsity level)

cheerleading was great!!! we went to the infamous cheer camp...did lots of competition and got to cheer at the largest high school sporting events in maryland :) my 2 best moments wre having members of the naval academy mens squad throw me for a basket toss and of course winning the leadership award my first year on the squad!!! wow do i miss it :(

I think I know where you went to school and, if I am right, I can totally understand your comments.

where???

Cluey 03-15-2003 12:45 PM

Trinity?

I could be wrong, but they by far have the longest skirt lengths for their cheerleaders, along with one of the best football teams.

Am I right?

swissmiss04 03-15-2003 12:50 PM

I was a dancer for 4 years
I played water polo for 2 years in college (intercollegiate club team, CO-ED)
Water polo isn't for the faint of heart or weak of body.
