I will be initiated into Alpha Phi on March 29, 2003!!

So a timeline for those interested:

November 30, 2002 - contacted Alpha Phi EO and local collegiate chapter regarding alum initiation

December 2, 2002 - Heard back from representative from local alumnae chapter

December 3, 2002 - met with chapter representative (who became my sponsor)

December 14, 2002 - Attended my first alum event

December 31, 2002 - Extended invitation to join Alpha Phi

March 29, 2003 - INITIATION

Thanks to everyone who has supported me through this process. A special thank you to CutiePie 2000 who's unsurpassed display of greek unity was instrumental in getting me to this point. And an extra special thank you to the women of Alpha Phi for allowing me to become another link in the ivy vine!

And just when I thought it wouldn't be possible, my badge arrived in the mail today from Masters of Design!! I'm not going to put it on -- not even to see how it looks -- until I've been initiated. It's just sitting at my computer, beaming up at me. :D

I got my certificate and membership card last week. I guess this is really happening, isn't it? !

Tomorrow's The Big Day!
 

Well, tomorrow's my big day! By this time tomorrow, I'll be a fully initiated member of Alpha Phi. I can't wait. I've wanted to be in a sorority for so long, and after tomorrow, it'll be a reality!

My A Phi sis Midwesterngirl is also being initiated tomorrow - although at a different location.

*jumps up and down with excitement*

Does anyone have any words of advice/words of wisdom to share with me?

My advice would be relax, have fun and just enjoy. If I remember correctly, my train of thought was:
"Wow...I am finally becoming a DG! "Wow...I am finally becoming a DG! "Wow...I am finally becoming a DG! "Wow...I am finally becoming a DG! "Wow...I am finally becoming a DG!"

I imagine that yours will be something similar, only with Alpha Phi of course!! :D
