38! That's huge; guess they're not going anywhere soon. YIKES!

Not sure but Chi O and DG posted their pledge classes to instagram. Gonna assume it was between 65-70 since the chapters had a number around that level.

In lurking tik tok throughout this rush, there sere several PNMs that left recruitment to join TS rather than stay and pledge a national sorority. My impression is due to the fact that there isn't any national oversight, things are a lot "looser".

I don't get it at all. "Join us! You can get wasted at parties and no one will care!"

The funny thing is about the "no posting risque stuff online." is that it makes complete sense. Now, a lot of employers might look you up on social media and if they see you say, at a bar dancing on the table with a martini in hand, they'll reconsider you for a job.

Everyone has certainly had wild nights in college, but those should be kept as funny memories and not documented online.

This whole deal reminds me of that Tri-Phi sorority at Loyola New Orleans - went on as local for decades, chock full of NO debutantes.

Just bumping to add that the daughter of a family friend is now a Pi Phi at PSU as well as being a member of Trilogy. There are several other young women in Trilogy that are also members of PHC sororities now so I guess there is now cross-membership.

*fades back into the ether*

Well I guess since they aren't a GLO they could have cross membership. I suppose if it becomes a positive charity club and shed the negative label, it could be valuable.

There is the possibility they could evolve into something like Alpha Phi Omega or Gamma Sigma Sigma or even *become* a chapter of Omega Phi Alpha. Both GSS and OPA are service sororities, but I don't know if there is any school with active chapters of both (both were formed about the same time on the example of Alpha Phi Omega)

Penn State already has both.

My guess is that if Trilogy stays around it will fluctuate through the years as to whether dual membership is approved of, much like other service/social and professional/social GLOs. I don't mean what is in the bylaws, I mean actual practice.

Hmm. I can find good current mentions of what Omega Phi Alpha is doing, everything that I can find on Gamma Sigma Sigma on the website seems to be pre-2020.
