Dockers and collared shirts are considered dress up on your campus? Not mocking, just asking :) Kind of the JcPenny look.

I also love a guy in a turtleneck...but yes, he must have the bod to pull it off. IMO, There is just something about a guy when he dresses up....I loveseeing guys around campus dressing up for formal dinners/initiation....too bad they don't do it every day. The Dockers and collared shirt looks damn good!
No baggy pants with the boxers hanging out! YUCK!

Around here, that's pretty nice.
t-shirt & jeans/shorts-tennis shoes= bummin' NO cologne

jeans and long sleeved shirt with rolled sleeves, button short sleeves or polo (brand) shirt & tennis shoes=gathering/clubbing meeting girls- more cologne LOL!

khaki and polo or rolled sleeves-Doc Martins (or similar) party- LOTS of cologne

dress slacks with dress shirt-tie, dress shoes= dinner at FANCY rest., wedding, MEET THE PARENTS, banquets- a touch of cologne

I finally figured out what he was doing by how soon I could smell him coming down the stairs!:D ;)

I think that JAM is right. Men and women need to dress appropriate to the occassion. It's amazing what some people think passes as dressed up. Some guys think that this means clean jeans, a clean t-shirt, and clean sneakers. Men know that it means a suit or at least a jacket and tie. I think that it is better to overdress slightly than underdress. :)

maybe this is bad...

Maybe I am crazy but one of the things I noticed first about my boyfriend is the fact that his jeans were a little big and his t-shirt was kind of unkept. Of course he had been driving for 3 days when I met him but I guess love is love and it hits you when you least expect it!!!

I took a great guy friend of mine to formal one year, and I always thought he was pretty stylish and good looking. Well, I was headed back to the table where he was talking to some of my friends' dates and i happened to glance down at his feet, past his hiked up pant legs. HE WAS WEARING WHITE SWEAT SOCKS. OMG Remember this was formal so he's in a black tux. I was so embarassed.
