I recall a transfer coming into my group and we never had a vote. She definitely was not a "fit" in our group and probably would not have been chosen had she gone through recruitment. What I do remember, she was welcomed with open arms and she was truly the absolute nicest young woman. She was a sister and of course she was forever a part of our group.

I am so saddened that people stoop this low now. It ruins it for the young women who transfer for all the proper reasons (whatever they may be) and then, they can't affiliate. It stinks!


You'd be surprised how often this happens....

I just can't believe how much being in a "certain sorority" at a "certain school" is to some people. Are they going to college to study and prepare for their future or for other reasons? SAD!
