AX Chapter of D Phi E turned 10 in December!

My chapter, Epsilon Theta of Phi Kappa Tau, is 11yrs old.
 

My chapter is the oldest out of the fraternities on SFSU. We are 11yrs old and loving it! We are the only Greeks on campus getting a house; Aug.1st we move in! So in August we will be the only Greeks with a house, can we say, "HooRah."

It was on the evening of September 13, 1888 that the Nebraska chapter, the Alpha Tau of Beta Theta Pi, was founded. That makes us 113 going on 114!!! With nearly 2100 initiates we have returned to prominence on the campus of UNL.

On an interesting side note, our chapter name is out of order...had we been placed in order we would have been Beta something, but at the time in order to hide chapter fatality rates Beta reused the names of dormant chapters...

My collegiate chapter (Pi Alpha) will celebrate her 20th Anniversary on February 5, 2003!

My chapter, Epsilon Xi chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded on Feb 24, 1968 making us 34 years old. On our campus we are one of the original three sororities.

We're having our 10 year this coming semester!! So i guess we're still considered a young chapter.

The Zeta Triton Chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa is 63 years old. We were founded in 1939, but we were accepted into Phi Sig in 1929. The reason for the delay was the Great Depression and the Grand Chapter not having enough money to send out a chartering crew!

The Delta Nu chapter of Alpha Xi Delta was founded in 1963 making us 39 years old this year.

Our chapter is the oldest at CSU. over 40 years.:)

Delta Zeta chapter at the University of Kentucky was originally charted in 1921. (Making technically 81 years of DZ at UK.) However, do to recruitment problems we were recolonized in 1999 (my big was a charter member). Proud to say that we are doing great and above campus chapter total of 110.

The California Beta Chapter of Phi Kappa Psi was founded in 1891, which makes it 111 years old and the oldest fraternity on the Stanford campus. In fact, our first fraternity house was actually purchased for us by Senator Leland Stanford himself in order to get men to transfer from California Alpha at the College of the Pacific (now University of the Pacific) in Sacramento to Palo Alto...

My Chapter is 46 yrs old. We are the oldest chapter as far as keeping a chapter at Long Beach State. March 17th 1956, exactly 50yrs from when we were founded Nationally, March 17th 1906, as u say Brother Prophet, HOO RAH!!
