I picked up a bunch of phrases while at working at space camp this summer...

my catch phrases are

I also say

"Does that scare anyone else but me"

"...Ultimately...." I guess it's good I'm majoring in poly-sci so I can use unnecessary fillers like this. Ex: "So should I ultimately be in the right hand lane?"

LOL My boyfriend says this exact same thing all the time.

I can't believe I forgot to put "Abort" on this thread!!!

I use that anytime I don't think something should be done or should be passed up. Like "those eggs are looking pretty sketchy, better abort on them..." (If I was at space camp with my fellow counselors the appropriate reply would be "roger that")

I'm visiting home right now, so I feel as though my vocabulary has been reduced the junior high school that my brothers go to. I keep saying:

"lameass"
or a variation, "whatever lameass"

and then my "lameass" brother tried to convince me that I was totally lame for not knowing these new words that he used incessantly. For two days, he kept saying "Man, Melanie. You totally sucksore!" "What?! Cheerios! That rocksores!" "You don't know what that means?! Man you sucksore! Everyone knows what sucksore means." He made me feel totally lame until he revealed that this is some clever "gaming" language that computer people use when they are playing those role-playing games.

In my "real" life, I say the phrase "Damn Gina!" (from Martin) a lot, and use the word "shortly" quite often.
Also I love it when my friend from work tells me, "Girl! You are too many things."
