I'm wearing red and my Breast cancer awareness for women of color ribbon.

How often are you tested for HIV and other STDs? I get checked every year. And share the results with my boyfriend. What about ya'll?

I also get tested every year. As a matter of fact, I'm due.

Dear Friends,

As World AIDS Day approaches (Dec. 1), we are reminded that millions of people need our help with the AIDS pandemic, but we often think, "What can I do?"

Here is one simple way you can help, and it costs you nothing but a moment and a mouse click.

Bristol Myers Squibb will donate $1 for every person who goes to their web site and lights a candle to fight AIDS, up to a max of $100,000. At this point, the counter is just over 87,000... so we need many more candles lit.

Please go to this link to light a candle... and help spread the light.

I get tested every 3-6 months, whether I'm sexually active or not... there is always that window where if you do have the virus and it has not yet been detected, you could be looking at full blown AIDS in amatter of years, depending on the strain...

I work in an AIDS clinic, so I've seen the gamut of emotions, from people coming to get tested and finding out they have HIV to seeing people who are on their last breaths struggling to find housing and get money for medication...

I wear a bracelet (http://until.org) and a red ribbon until a cure for AIDS is found... I plan on clicking on that website AT LEAST 30 times on Friday, and I will spread the word... good looking CT4

You definitely have an interesting job. I can only imagine how emotional that is for you. I work with leukemia patients and soon breast cancer patients.

Magic Johnson has launched a new website www.istandwithmagic.com to bring more awareness to the AIDS impact on Blacks. Right now 41 people stand with Magic.

I love that sterling and leather bracelet that the site sells.
