Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated was founded on January 9, 1914 at Howard Univ, and our Beta Chapter was found in 1915 @ Marshall College in Wiley, TX. on Nov. 15, 1915. And with this, we are the first black fraternity to operate south of VA.

Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity (aka the Boule) was the first black fraternity to operate south of Virginia. The Delta Boule was chartered in Memphis, TN, on June 17, 1910.
