Actaully I've driven through Ohio. Y'all can't be too bored up there.

It's much more cosmopolitan than Oklahoma is. Try living here and then talk to me about boring :D

What do you expect from a state who's name is a Native American word for "Red Dirt"?

As much as I complained about living in Ohio and the weather here, I miss it. It gets in your blood. That's why I might be transferring to OU next year! The weather might suck, but us Ohioans (sp?) know how to have fun!

if it's a border state to Ky it has to suck, there is no alternative.

Round on teh ends and highh in teh middle!

Keep rolling out of there! Or if it out of there!

Yeah, now what's with all the Ohio-bashing???? It totally depends on where in the state you are talking about. Like it or not, there are parts of EVERY (yes, I said EVERY, including California and Texas!!!!!!!!) state that suck. Um, Mansfield is not exactly an entertainment mecca-----that would be the problem right there. I have to admit I am not a big fan of Cincinnati......to those of us up here in NE Ohio, Cincy is just part of Kentucky. Columbus is really nice and has a lot to do, and Cleveland, like the song says, rocks!!!!! Anyone who says Cleveland is boring or has nothing hasn't been to the Cleveland I know. And anyone who says that Ohio is all farmland hasn't traveled from Cleveland down to Canton------there is nothing in between but highways, suburbs, cement and people.

When I was growing up in Ohio, we who lived in Columbus called Cleveland "The mistake on the lake," and bemoaned our fate living in a big "cowtown."

In the ensuing years, Columbus has turned into a great city, and Cleveland is absolutely vibrant.

As for Oklahoma, our son is starting college there in the Fall -- he'll liven the place up.

Had to smile at memories of the buggy lot at Walmart just down the road from Mansfield.... and seeing lanterns floating down the street to the sound of horse hooves after dark....

You could always head out to Grandpa's Cheese Barn. ;)

If you're into the state park idea, there's Mohican. Just watch out for the snakes if you go to the livery.

Columbus, Ohio is where Delta Gee is headquartered (and come to think of it, so is Kappa Kappa Gee...their headquarters are in Columbus too).

So I think y'all should stop being meanies to Ohio! :p ;)

Cincy is sooo not a part of Kentucky. That's pretty funny. I spent 18 years of my life there and can say with confidence that I have no Kentucky qualities. More than anything you can say that Covington and Newport are a part of Cincy because they are not like typical Kentucky cities. It is all part of the "Greater Cincinnati" area. Cincinnati is a great place to be raised and has tons to do. You should spend more time down here or get to know some people from Cincy before you judge it. It's just like the people who judge Ohio. Sorry bout my lil' rant. I'm just tired of people alwayz dissin Cincy.
