Tired of the Same Ol, Same Ol?

Want to use more than the colors on GC, then go here and have fun

The color in my sig now is 6699CC

code is same as you would for bold, italics, or underlining. :)

ttt for those who want to learn GC's tricks of the trade for sprucing up your posts and your signature

There is a section in the User CP where they give you all the codes for adding color to your posts, as well as changing the font, the size, and anything else you might need. I asked CrimsonTide4 to help but went ahead and tried it myself. It wasn't hard at all.

open with [ color= ] (without the spaces)

after the = put the name of the color u want...red, green, blue (there are several shades of blue),etc. you can see the colors that are available if you click on the drop down next to COLOR when you're making a post or replying.

then you close with [ /color ] again, without the spaces

changing the font is the same way, except you're using the word font instead of the word color. for the greek letters, the font name is symbol. for this purpose, our letters are DSQ instead of DST ;)

you add your signature in your user CP under edit profile.

I'm trying to change the greek letters in front of 2004 to read spring..but it's not working..where does the [ / font ] exactly go??

CrimsonTide4 12-27-2004 10:11 PM

1. Did you all know that every time you correct your signature, it automatically updates all of your posts? This eliminates you all putting back to back test posts. :) :p

2. Put [ /font ] immediately after the organization's name.
