This is so awesome!! DG did so wonderfully at Homecoming last year! So happy for this chapter!!

According to facebook and twitter posts, Alpha Gamma Delta pledged 77 girls :)

Any UGA actives know chapters participating in COR/COB? I know a great PNM who would love to join a chapter!

The DPhiE colony will begin recruiting now! That would be a great opportunity to be a founder.

Kappa Alpha Theta took 71.

The majority of the houses either do COB in spring or fall(or both) or give out snap bids. I know some houses try to keep it underwraps because they think it'll make them look bad. If she went through fall recruitment then she's already signed up for snap bids or fall COB. If not then she can go through spring, but it really depends on what houses she has friends in to where she gets invited to.

^^^Wait a second, UGAactive - from the 18th edition MOI: regarding Snap Bidding/Unfilled Quotas Snap bidding is an option available to chapters that did not match all quota spaces in bid matching, whether matching by hand or by computer. Snap bidding is done before bids are distributed.

It's different than Continuous Open Bidding (COB). ETA: you don't "sign up" for snap bids.

We now have a happy new member of a wonderful chapter at UGA! Maybe one day I will post her story, but for now I will stay quiet!

Of course, all the chapters are wonderful!

My daughter, a new pledge to a great house at UGA told me yesterday that at least 6 houses that she knows of have been giving out snap bids all week included some "top' houses. It is such good news!
