And OP - you're either a member of the chapter we all know just colonized with 200 members at a school with 17 chapters, or you're not. I assume congrats are in order.

ETA: congrats! Feel free to finish up your story in your style - we'll still read it ;) So you had friends invited to pref who didn't get bids? That seems a bit unusual in colonization processes.
