She probably got a bid to that colony because she continued to post. The end. : ). Now we can worry about ebola, party decor gone wrong at USC and throwing what you know. : )

One (post) and done! : )

Understandable, as it's been over a month!

I'm interested, but I'm also annoyed because this one could have been finished up with the last post.

See: The next day I did/did not get a bid to the colonizing chapter. I'm now thrilled to be/sad not to be a new member of ABC!!!! I'm looking forward to getting to know all of my new sisters OR I'm going to try again with informal/COB next semester OR SCREW YOU GUYS, I'M GOING HOME!"

Sorry guys, I like a little tension! Glad you're interested!

I wouldn't say I'm an attention whore persay, but I do appreciate attention for my story!

It's funny, you were the last one to post on my previous thread:

Okay. So, congratulations and glad you found your home at that school near a certain mountain range.

SPOILER ALERT: She got a bid. Nobody gets invited to colony pref if they aren't getting a bid, save really weird circumstances. The end.

Untrue

pinksequins 10-17-2014 11:05 AM

And she continues to post, which isn't typical unless someone is conducting a retrospective of what might have gone awry.

pinksequins 10-17-2014 11:11 AM

Actually, the ending can be a bit clever: WE ARE P____ S____. : )

I know of cases where we've passed out bids at colonization pref, and cases where there were cuts after pref and not everyone got a bid the next day.

Anyway, I appreciate dramatic build up and would like to read what happened! Please post that!!! :)

If you want to know if people are interested look at the number of views.

per say is two separate words.

If you came here to post that, you could finish your story and gain a lot of new friends. Right now you're squarely in the "annoyed" corner. Get yourself out of it, and disprove the AW title.

:eek::eek::eek:

There was another thread where we talked about it, and I thought it was pretty much agreed that it was cruel and nobody does this. If some groups do, I stand corrected.

OneandDone 10-17-2014 12:24 PM

I wanted time to write out a full response but I guess I'll tell you I did get a bid! Some of my friends didn't though.

I thought it was "per se"

And OP - you're either a member of the chapter we all know just colonized with 200 members at a school with 17 chapters, or you're not. I assume congrats are in order.

ETA: congrats! Feel free to finish up your story in your style - we'll still read it ;) So you had friends invited to pref who didn't get bids? That seems a bit unusual in colonization processes.

Damn. Pot meet kettle - I'm wearing that shoe!

There are always reasons why a bid is not issued after pref. Colonizations are no different.

I don't even care if she got a bid, I'm having way more fun with all the PMs and side convos and messages. :D

Thanks, three years of Latin class!
