Let me clarify some things from my POV. This thread might have garnered far less "negative attention" had you not labeled your question as "I know this is going to be some mess but". . . and accessorized it with a smilie. Instead if you had just asked the question like this: I have always wondered why are 5 of the 9 organizations founded in the month of January? You might have received less critical responses.

In so far as you coming on this forum with your query, people reacted based on two things: the wording and the attitude or connotation that your theory came with.

It took me a few days to respond to you because like EVERYONE on GC, I have a life and I wanted to take a few days and think about how to respond to you. It came to me just now as I was brushing my teeth.

In conclusion, you are always welcome on GC but next time you have a question that might be sensitive to a group of folks or whatever, think of the wording.

I am glad that you understood where I was coming from. Cretain topics are sensitive in nature and as a moderator, I am primarily concerned with maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all both SORORS of DST as well as any and all visitors to our cozy spot on GC.:D
