Well I have a break right now after getting my schedule. My first house is Theta, then Pi Phi, AChiO and then DG. I'm getting so excited! Today is the skit day and it's going to be so much fun! :D

Congratulations on your invites, hon! I am so excited that you've clicked with four houses on campus - that leaves you a LOT of options and you've got plenty of time to find out where you fit best. It sounds like you're having a blast and keeping an open mind - I'm so proud of you and wish more PNM's would do the same! :D Have fun and keep us updated...we're all rooting for you!! Today was amazing! I had four party which is the skit day. I LOVED it so much and it was so much fun! :D

My first house was Kappa Alpha Theta. I walked in and was paired with the sweetest girl in the house. The whole house was decorated in a movie theme with their famous members names in stars. The skit was Annie and was so beautiful. I could tell they worked so hard on it and everyone was really amazing in it! It was so beautiful there, and I really clicked with the house manager. I learned about the Theta china that the chapter is lucky enough to have and about how wonderful it is living in the house. I really felt a connection with the girls I talked to and I saw the girls I had talked to the day before and sat next to them during the skit. It felt like home there...I came out with a huge grin on my face. :D

The second house was Pi Beta Phi. I walked in and was paired with one of my friends in the house. I was so glad to see her because we had seen each other earlier in the week and wasn't allowed to talk because of the silence between PNMs and actives. I loved their skit which was Pi Phi through the ages. It was so funny and you could tell they also worked really hard. After the skit I met some more girls who were really sweet. It was amazing that a house that small could be so strong! The girls all knew each other and got along really well. I really enjoyed my time there. :)

The third house was Alpha Chi Omega. There were a lot of girls in the house and their theme was AX in NY. I thought it was really well put together because the snack we had there was not only their colors it related to NYC! The girl I talked to was really nice and she was so sweet to talk to. I also loved meeting the other girls who stopped by to talk. Their skit was beautiful, the voice majors all sang broadway songs modified to fit AXO. The last song almost had me in tears! :D

My final house of the day was Delta Gamma. The house was so beautiful and when I walked in I saw a lot of the girls from the day before that I had talked to and they all waved and smiled at me while singing. That was really nice! We watched their skit which was Grease and I loved that it was so funny and the songs were acapella! The girl I talked to first was so nice, I couldn't stop talking to her and had such a good time. I saw a lot of the girls from the day before and they stopped by and said hi. It was so much fun. The only thing that worries me is that I was one of the first ones out of the house! The day before I was the last one out of the house. :)

I had so much fun today! It's going to be hard to decide which ones to go to for pref night if I don't get cut from two. Tomorrow morning I meet with my Rho Chi to see who invited me back at 10 AM. I finally get to sleep in on the day I want to know ASAP! Well I am SOO tired, I'm heading to bed and going to try and sleep in until I get to find out my invites!

That's great. It sounds like no matter where you go, you'll feel at home. That's a good situation to be in. Well, I hope that the decision becomes clear at pref so that ranking them on the card will be a quick and painless process! Just follow your heart and you should have a new home soon!

It sounds like your are having an amazing time. I loved rush, I actually loved it so much I became rush chair in later years. My only advice to you is to make your choices with an open mind. It sounds like you have enjoyed all of the chapters but have friends in some. Don't let having friends in some have some weight on your decision, it could be a decision your regret earlier. When I went through rush I was a sophomore and had friends in a lot of chapters. I actually ended up choosing Theta which I had the least people I knew and it was the best decision I ever made. I made new friendships that I cherish deeply. I have been alumni for about two years and I still talk to tons of theta's from my chapter every week. While I was active my friendships still went on with the friends I had from other chapters as well.
I am so happy you are going through rush, it is a time you will never forget. Have a great week and enjoy it to the fullest.
