Dress looks terrific and granddaughter is darling!

I was reading this thread the other day and hoping the dress you ordered would turn out to be perfect. I was just delighted to see a link to a pic -- a thread bonus!

Completely off topic, that floor is beautiful. Is it travertine? I've never been brave enough to use travertine indoors, so I'm always envious whenever I see it. I had to settle for travertine pavers outside. Sorry for the hijack - back to your granddaughter's cute new dress!

LOL, she will be 6 ft 20 when she puts on the shoes she's planning to wear with that dress. It had just come out of a tiny shipping envelope; she tossed it over the back of the chair (was on her way to church) and almost all the wrinkles fell out, so I'm hoping that's going to work.

My floor is Italian tile; we found the tile almost by the time we started building, and fell in love with it. I carried a "tile board" in the back seat of my car for the next nine months or so, and everything had to go with the tile. I love it.

She is absolutely precious, inside and out. She does have her PMS mood swings, but I never see them; she saves them for her parents and siblings.
