NEW season starts Feb 17th. Last night was the finale of THIS season. Sorry, I was unclear!

The Goat Farmers deserve to win for knowing that THIS is the symbol of the UN:

Trey and Lexie do not, because they thought it was a "target". Oy.

Wasn't talking about that, was about that kinda major twist at the end of the finale

But they also said, because they live(d) in NYC, they saw the building all the time and admired it. In all honesty, I don't recall ever seeing that symbol before. I must have at some point, because I said "I think that's the UN". I didn't know it for sure.

Agreed. My husband knew it right off the bat and was floored when I said I didn't know right away. I think I would have gotten it (fairly?) quickly, but I would have had to stop and think rationally, which would have been hard in the heat of the moment.

The Beekmans won because Brent is better at deducing/understanding languages than the other two teams.

It was crazy...I'm sure Vegas didn't have good odds on those two!

Yes. We were pulling more for the Chippies, but we couldn't argue with the tortoises winning out over the hares.

What we particularly noticed was the good sportsmanship among the final three teams. When Lexie got hit on the head by whatever was holding those banners up, Brent walked over to ask if she was okay. When Brent finished with the "hellos" and "good-byes," Lexie congratulated him on a good job. When Lexie and Trey got to the finish line, it looked like the first thing they did was hug and congratulate the others. Nobody whined, nobody sulked.

I don't know if she was trying to get a nationally televised proposal out of him or what, but it just seemed like she was making a few too many references to their future. He looked uncomfortable on more than one occasion (throughout the season, not just last night).

I never thought he looked that uncomfortable. They only time I ever thought he looked uncomforable was when Phil asked him about it at the mat. Otherwise, it just seemed to me like part of their patter.

THIS! The thought crossed my mind..."did the producers pull him aside and put some pressure on him to propose when they hit the mat?"

I was shocked the other teams didn't know the symbol.

I love it when the last task is mental!
