I don't have time before getting kid to school to create a photo for here, but follow this link to the TCU paper for Pi Phi and Alpha Chi Omega names and bid day photo.

Does anyone know how many are participating in rush at Tarleton State? The school has grown, so I suspect the numbers will also!

Over 300 women have registered for recruitment as of this morning; the deadline for registration is tomorrow. With only 3 existing NPC sororities on campus, they are expecting record breaking pledge classes!!! I'm really excited for the growth they are experiencing. (As has been mentioned on the Extension thread, ASA and DPhiE are presenting in late September for the chance to colonize in the Spring)

Doesn't Tarleton use RFM?

If they are down to 180, it is because PNMs voluntarily withdrew - not because they were released by all chapters.

Loved the AOPi Colonization ad too--so glad you're coming to TCU!

Where did they get the extra 50?

Because this was incorrect, perhaps????

I am confused by the Tarelton posts... but happy to see the 230 number and that Greek life is doing well there!

Perhaps that 180 was representative of just one chapter's returns after RFM. I attended Pref night & bid day and can confirm that about 230 women received bids on Saturday. Panhellenic worked very hard to make sure most women who attended a pref party received a bid. I do not know how many women declined (if any). Large recruitment numbers attributed to largest freshman class ever...and I will say that in future, references may begin to play a bigger part in helping the chapters with membership selection since these numbers are likely to grow. Greek life is definitely alive & well @ Tarleton!

78 new PhiMu's bids were extended at Tarleton.
