I'm all for threads that are about random things, but I like when that's their purpose, not when a thread becomes about random things. That's why I give up.

Well, technically, ree-Xi cares, I guess; that's what it looks like - at least to me...

KeepOnSingin 05-14-2012 03:03 PM

I was asked so I answered.

Leave ree-Xi alone, I say! Alone, I say!

I'm sure SydneyK's life is all the better for it. She may even keep on singing.

And the irony quota in this thread is now met. Thanks!

KeepOnSingin -- Folks are going to comment as they see fit in any and all threads. The topics tend to start at one place and transition to another.

If you don't find the posts relevant, ignore them and observe until something useful to you comes up again.

Didn't you already go to the informational? What else needs to be discussed about your situation? You already asked them questions -- why do you still need to know what questions should be asked?

KeepOnSingin 05-14-2012 03:09 PM

Yes I went to the informational and it was good. Now there's no real reason for all this commenting on this thread.

It was all good last night :) It was me, another interested girl and 2 sisters (both of whom I know already). They gave information we talked it was very informal and personal and fun. I have to go to 2 more informationals before I can become a true PNM so I'll do that in the fall. I found out what the other sorority on campus is and I looked into them, but I'm much more interested in this one so I think that's what I'm going to pursue.

If there was no real reason, why did you bump it (and every other thread you created)? Rest assured that no one here was holding their breath and waiting to hear how it went for you...

I was being rhetorical.
Besides, my question could have been answered (rhetorically) with a simple yes or no. And I think the answer is yes - you're just upset that this thread isn't all about you anymore.

Except that we want to keep commenting in this thread. Which is a real reason.

KeepOnSingin 05-14-2012 03:15 PM

I said is not was. There is (present tense) no need for people to be commenting anymore. I thought there was (past tense) the need to update. Apparently I was wrong, and that's fine.

Maybe it's just how most of you come across online, but you don't seem like very nice people and honestly if this forum were all I knew of Greek life I would be incredibly turned off. Good thing it's not.

It comes from being an associational chainer instead of a linear sequential. Although, I must say, I am analytical, but don't do it in an organized fashion. It's more like from A to Z through a whole lot of interesting (to me, at least) detours. And doesn't take much time at all. At least not to me.

And OP, I don't know why you are asking us for fashion advice and then arguing. We're Mean and Evil. At least, I am. Or so I've been told.

No, wait, I gave up the title. Who'd I give it to?

Now I'm thinking I don't know what elipses are.

And I'm not a YOU PEOPLE. That is offensive. /slams door.

You gave it to me. I'm warming up to the title.

Where in this thread is anyone mean? People have answered your questions. The off topicness comes with the territory. I do find it interesting that you posted the question in multiple places some of which seem to have nothing to do with college or greek life. Yeah there are greeks everywhere, but if I'm asking about joining my universities dance team, I would ask people/websites that pertain to that instead of asking all over the internet. Sure there are dancers everywhere, but I'd want people who took it seriously and know about all types of campus dance teams instead of only their own.

Glad informationals went well.

We get that a lot. Luckily, there is life outside the computer screen. We're just having fun with you while most of us are stuck in front if said computer screen for our 8 hours.
