FYI- Murray State U. has had local sororities in the past.

To the OP, if you wish to work in student life on a college campus, you need
to learn to take knowledge from others. I am a student life professional.

You're going to have to help with a translation of PTITY. I'm not hip to the jive.

Prune Tacos Is This You?

Although she's either using it for comparison's sake, or they get WiFi in Hell, because plumburritos bit the big one.

Yes to the bolded. Someone else upthread posted the remark "Prune Tacos?" (I think it was FSUZeta?).

Any time someone of the XY persuasion expresses an intense interest in Kappa, that thought floats across my radar. I think that in the future, however, I'm not going to raise that spectre. I wrote that I did NOT get the PT vibe from this guy, not that I thought it was him or someone of that ilk.

DS - a little google search will bring up the info you are missing.

Holy crap on the prunetacos identity.

No, the OP isn't like that, just young and inexperienced.

We need a term for a thread that has been prunetacoed.

AlphaFrog 01-11-2012 01:23 PM

TacoHelled?

Ok, yes, somebody get the handbasket.

This thread makes absolutely no sense.

Long story short, is the flouncing OP really the friend of an unable-to-research-on-her-own Kappa hopeful who thinks he knows it all OR is the flouncing OP really the friend in question?

I think here he claims to be a Phi Kappa Tau.

Maybe he is a nice guy. A trait that is rather common with Kentucky men. :)

I think he secretly wants to be the new KKG house mom and wear the sequined pink tights! :D

Not a gay joke though, right?

Wow. :(

AlphaFrog 01-11-2012 04:00 PM

Oh, lighten up you guys. He opened the can of worms himself by getting involved in something that really isn't his business. If he's offended, I'm sure he's perfectly capable of letting us know. Honestly, I didn't even think of his sexual orientation when I read thetalady's post. It seemed to reflect more of his seemingly overexhuberant affections for Kappa.

Thetalady can clarify if she was not making a gay joke.

The OP (if the OP is who the OP claims to be) opened the door for jokes and an eventual flounce. The OP did not open the door for what can be interpreted as a gay joke. It would be a different interpretation had the OP not just claimed to be a gay man.
