Why did I get married too. I liked the first one, but with the second one, there were just too many phony scenes.

I fell asleep during Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (I even had to look the name up -- it was so boring that I couldn't remember the NAME).

I also did the same during Tropic Thunder. There were some funny moments, but I don't think it lived up to all the hype surrounding it.

Thank you. I totally forgot about that one. Yep, it was awful.

We are definitely "cousins"! I get a little ill even thinking about the time I lost by watching it.

summer_gphib 09-09-2011 02:53 PM

Totally agree on Thor. We went to the dollar theater to see it and felt cheated!

MysticCat 09-09-2011 02:59 PM

I actually kind of liked Thor. :o

But then, I went to see it with very low expectations -- the best way to guard against disappointment.

How Do You Know? It looked cute....but was reallllllly boring.

Yeah, I really love Norse mythology and I've read the Edda countless times. Also love the Thor comics. Fail on every single aspect except Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth's abs.

Love Norse mythology (though I can't claim to have read the Eddas). Read one or two Thor comics when I was a kid, but that was it -- I am a DC guy.

But like I said, I went in with very low expectations, so I was not disappointed. The movie met or exceeded my (very low) expectations. I've learned the hard way that's the key for a movie like this.

Meanwhile, my entire family was disappointed with both Happy Feet and Fantastic Mr. Fox. We all kept hearing how great they were, but we were all bored senseless by both of them.

Eat, Pray, Love- I kept looking at my watch wondering when the hell the movie would be over.

Black Swan- the movie was so overhypped. If I can't get into a movie within the first 15 minutes, forget it I won't watch (other than the ones I've paid 10 bucks to see at a theater).

Life or Something Like It- Katherine Heigel (however you spell her last name) just annoys me

Up

The Angelina Jolie movie? I don't remember Katherine H. being in that film.

I can't remember the title of the movie, it is the one with Katherine H and Josh D, they become guardians of their friends kid after the friends die. I'm blanking on the title.

But I didn't like that Angelina Jolie movie either. LOL

Looks like it's "Life As We Know It"
