I think Woody Harrelson is a good choice...
I'm still waiting to see who will play Cinna....I think I'm the only one who see him as Asian. |

I am currently reading the 3rd and final book. I LOVED the first 2 and read them quickly. I am 3/4 the way through the last. Have they cast Gale or Prim? I also think Woody Harrelson will be a good choice. Cinna, I don't really have a picture in my minds eye of him.

Gale is Liam Hemsworth and Prim is Willow Shields

Wes Bentley has been cast as Seneca Crane. I'm blanking who is this character?
Paula Malcomson has been cast as Mrs. Everdeen. |

Seneca is the head gameskeeper.... Also, I really see Jeff Bridges at President Snow....pipedream, I know...and he doesn't fit the description....properly someone closer to a Malcolm McDowell is closer to the description. |

A friend is borrowing the books, what is the name of Katniss's designer? I wonder who that will be. |

Cinna is the designer :D |
I am starting to be more of a believer in Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss.

Lenny Kravitz has been cast as Cinna! I can see it :)

I can so see Lenny as Cinna....that will be kinda cool
|
Has President Snow been cast? I'd love to see Tim Robbins in that role. But maybe that's because I've been harboring a crush on him since Bull Durham...
Lenny should rock the role of Cinna. |
This thread has sucked me into those books, read the first two, the first in 48 hours and the second in under 24. I doubt I'll pick up the third because I read there isn't an actual hunger games in it, and to be honest that was the best part of both books by far to me. The first two were fascinating though.
One of those scenarios (like many horror movies) where you're reading it and going "Holy shit I would not last a day." I would have been sprinting right towards that cornucopia and some career would have finished me off. And frankly, it's good to see a book with a very strong female character that would appeal equally to young (and 20 something, hah) boys and girls. Although I did read that many feel Katniss's character was still manipulated too much in the third book to really come full circle. |
