Aw, look at her trying to be all passive aggressive because she was wrong and couldn't admit it.

It's OK. You've been wrong since your first post in this thread and we don't really expect you to change now. Hope never dies, but cynical expectations do wound it fairly well.

I think I was kicked out of the southerner club. :(

The OP can actually use everything that has been typed in this thread for an etiquette class. This thread is actually a perfect illustration of all that can go into teaching etiquette.

Are you ever wrong?:D

I am not wrong because I have different opinions than you. But seriously, I do mean it as a compliment. If I am ever able to go through life thinking my way or the highway I'll save myself a lot of time and effort.

I have to go buy shoes for a wedding, and a new cellphone charger. So I'll oblige.

/breaking my don't tell people you're leaving rule so k_s can get his drink on.

And you took a sharp turn into being an asshole. Great job.

Why is k_s getting his drank on so early? I don't think last night's alcohol has fully left my system. I had a few glasses of Delirium. That stuff is like herpes--it stays with you.

Sinatra on Sundays is so awesome. "Moon River" is on right now and it reminds me of Breakfast at Tiffany's.

It's noon! Brunch drinking time.

Except I'm not drinking mimosas -- I'm going to juggle vodka water and bud light.

Where is the different opinion? GC back-and-forths are not always about differing opinions. They are sometimes about people believing that you don't understand what you are reading and replying to.

The OP can use that for their etiquette class, as well. If there are opinionated people in her chapter, there may be people who want to discuss and then there can be a back-and-forth.

I hope it's a bottomless brunch. :D

What part of your messages directed towards me in this thread weren't condescending, rude, and/or bitchy? Especially since you jumped into an already frigid exchange between two posters that was not at all related to you. Look, if you can't take the same back at you, don't post it.

Also, don't make that face too long. What if it got stuck that way?;)

At a friend's house, so it's bottomless until she runs out of drinks lol

In reality, the posts, like me for instance, understand fully what you are saying. I don't agree with it many times, and I respond with accordingly. Just because people don't agree doesn't mean they don't understand.

The frigidity (is that a word?) was on your end. I'm typing about etiquette classes.

You assumed that I called something ridiculous and went on your southern etiquette rant as though you assumed that I am not a southerner. That's all on you. My points never changed and we reached an overall agreement in the end, which shows that you never really disagreed with me in the first place aside from your assumptions. Cheers, woman, damn.
