Well, ladies and gents the moral of the story is:

Ain't nothin' wrong with a good loc. That is all.

That man has hair? Didn't notice.

DrPhil 11-08-2010 10:16 PM

I didn't notice that he was anything more than a pair of...legs.

What's up with the background, though? It reminds me of when 33girl or Drolefille posted the photo of "Detective Stabler" in some thread and he was looking sexy but laying on a furry carpet. Yeck.

His 8 pack kept me from even noticing his.... legs.

Maybe it's like a contrast - "hard body/soft background" or something.

I set impossibly high standards for myself and others, but one of the things I judge women most by is how they dress. I will forgive a well dressed woman for others things (for example, crooked teeth). I know this is heinous, but I think cardigans are sexy, lol.

I love cardigans and I'm not the only woman who loves them.

I looooove cardigans too!! I seriously have at least 15 in my closet...

FHwku 11-08-2010 11:50 PM

too tan.

you're orange. it's ridiculous.

VandalSquirrel 11-08-2010 11:53 PM

White guys with dreds! I mean completely white, not bi or multiracial, WHITE. I think it is because they have all smelled like patchouli, and well patchouli is a huge turn off for me because it smells like mold.

You don't want to look in my closet, I own so many because of the versatility of being professional yet comfortable. I also have rocked a sweater vest or two in my day, since I am challenged by turtlenecks unless they are in reality cowl necked.

I've never had this problem. Probably because I am in the land of whitey and the men here wouldn't fake tan orange, they'd tan from working outside and be of a shade found in nature complete with tan lines from shirts. Women on the other hand, OMFG it is as if we've started cloning Snooki and Oompah Loompahs instead of mules at Idaho. I'm always disturbed and mesmerized by over tanned women who wear frosty sparkle makeup and have bleached out white hair and roots. It doesn't look attractive or natural, and no one is fooled.

Ed Hardy anything.

Sorry, Situation.

I had friends growing up who I avoided going to their house (elementary school age) because I thought it smelled musty and moldy. Come to find out later it was patchouli that I associated with a musty moldy smell and it made sense considering their parents were hippies who had a VW bus and followed the Dead at some point.

I am sure it smells lovely to a lot of people, but I have met a lot of people who think it smells exactly the way I think it smells. I havea hyper sense of smell so that is likely also a factor.

PiKA2001 11-09-2010 03:29 AM

I hate the smell of patchouli and I don't understand why people would want to smell like that. It kind of reminds me of a job I had when I was in 9th grade at the local VFW Post. I washed dishes for the Friday night fish fry during lent and smelled like a vat of frying grease by the time I got off shift.

But, in your OP, you said that from the start there's some kind of physical attraction. So, with that, if I like her, and she's someone I'm physically attracted to, and someone I could see myself as friends with first, then I would hang out with her until she eventually takes off her shoes, which always happens after a few dates. If her feet are jacked, then I just gained a friend. If she has pretty feet, then we can move to the next level.

All I can do is boggle at the idea of diagnosing someone's feet through their shoes...

And being opposed to flat feet? They're just feet O.o
