I think what ChaosDST was trying to say that there are blacks and other minorities that join "WGLOs" because they relate to white people better than their "own culture", perhaps because they were not raised around "their own". Like me.

THEN...

They're are blacks and other minorities who PURPOSELY choose to be with GLOs outside their race, regardless if they relate to white people better or not, just for the sake of being in a "WGLO". THESE PEOPLE ARE CALLED "SELLOUTS".

I do, my dad talks about race relations all the time....He couldn't understand for the life of him why I joined a NPC sorority instead of a NPHC sorority, last year.

Uh...you don't want to take this thread to the next level...let's stick with the initial topic. To satisfy your "curiosity," re-read my post (that you quoted but apparently didn't read carefully) and THINK about what I typed...your question is null and void.

Well I am very glad to read this after being gone so long and not being a part in the absolutly appaling issue about the Halloween party costumes! Way to go hopefully this will open up many more opertunities for others to join predomently white fraternities and sororities!!

Try connecting this to the original topic. For the record, I NEVER called anyone dumb...so those who took it that way suffer from paranoia. Topics such as these go bad because folks are so quick to jump on the sarcasm bandwagon as opposed to TRULY listening (or reading) others' viewpoints. I stated some unpopular viewpoints (apparently). However, instead of being sarcastic and combative in your replies...let's try another route.

There are a subgroup of blacks, a pretty big one, who thinks like my dad. The things I read from some black GCers are very similar to what my dad "preaches".

And, yes, I do ask for CLARITY. :rolleyes:
