Either way, she's pissing rainbows about a campus and specific situation that she knows nothing about. As usual.

Drolefille, I think your lyrics would be more fitting here.

Eh, alumiyum usually has her panties in a wad. Unfortunately because Barbie mentioned rainbows it doesn't apply the other way around. I can only do SO MUCH with what I'm given.

*drama*

Hmph. I guess.

This is what I get for breaking my "no recruitment story, wedding, AI, bid day, SEC transfer, or brutally honest threads" rule, eh?

That's a waste both for her and the chapter when she can learn an important lesson...making friends takes a lot of work and potentially give a lot back to the chapter. If that's pissing rainbows, why the hell do any of us pay good money to go greek? It's supposed to be more than a social club.

And unless you know this chick, you're being a very negative nancy about "a specific situation you know nothing about".

Barbie's panties are not in a knot, and it's not just because she wears thongs instead of gross old granny panties. But just to be clear, Barbie knows more about this campus and situation than the casual rainbow pissing observer.

Ehh, whatever.

"Make the best of the organization you're in" does not warrant a "Yawwwn! You don't know what you're talking about, you non-Sooner bastard!"

Well, at least I am an NPC sorority member posting in a thread about NPC sororities. You care way too much for someone who has no dog at all in this hunt.

Uhh...burn?

Are you going to be personally affected by the choice the OP makes?

In ways some member of a multicultural fraternity would not be.

That wasn't even clever, idiot.

I implore you to name one way that YOU will personally be affected by the decision the OP makes.

Oh God Lord...I read this thread with growing disgust.

Barbie: I can only speak for myself (NPC sorority alumna) and state that your comments are an embarassment to OU's Greek community. I am glad you have not indicated your affiliation to embarass your individual chapter (though it would be good for them to know the boorish behavior of one of the chapter's members). I sincerely hope we are not affiliated with the same national sorority.

To the OP: As many articulate and logical posters have pointed out, it is easy when you are 18 to make rash decisions. If you want to stay at OU, I think the best course of action for you is to see how you can make a positive contribution to your chapter and find the sisters who you enjoy being with, and vice-versa. Also, get involved with some activities outside your sorority and meet some friends outside the sorority (and outside the Greek community). Try to put a positive outlook on things (...unlike your fellow Sooner, Barbie).
There were probably a lot of girls who did not get any bids, and a lot of girls who wish they had received the bid you received. Make the most of it.
