I'll tell you how I got into a sorority. I chose to maximize MY OPTIONS and I gave EVERY sorority a chance. I think that my sisters also liked the fact, since they later told me it was one of my greatest features, that I served my country in a war zone as an Intelligence Analyst. I wouldn't say I'm a bitter witch because I respect all of the sororities NPC / NPHC. I recognize that every one of them has some redeeming quality and I chose not to turn my nose up at that fact.
As far as a helicopter parent goes, that is exactly what you are. I can't even imagine one of my parents coming on GC and trying to start fights with people they don't even know. If this is how you act on a site where your daughter could have been given great recruitment advice, I'm wondering how much you hovered over her during her actual recruitment. Who knows, maybe YOU hurt her recruitment. |
