To me, I'd want her to be an AXiD. As much as I loved SPSU - it's not the kind of school to go gaga over.

That being said, like someone else mentioned, I wouldn't want her to join AXiD just because of her legacy status. If she would be happy and involved in another organization, that's what matters.

I would have to go with sharing my fraternity. Sharing an alma mater would be fun (I went to my mother's alma mater), but I don't think anything could beat being present at my son's initiation . . . and I would be there.

But I think it's very unlikely, and that's okay too.

I've had dreams about my sister joining Tri Delta then me surprising her at initiation. One of the girls in our PC 08 's aunt did taht and it was PRECIOUS.

ADPi, definitely! My school leaves much to be desired, but Alpha Delta Pi never comes up short. I have to admit that I have fantasized about my future daughters Recruitments, and nothing would make me happier than them loving ADPi as much as I do! Plus they would be third generation legacies!!!

I would much prefer them to share my alma mater! There are so many great GLOs on campus that I think they could find their home at any one of them.

I wouldn't wish my alma mater on my family. It's not what it once was. Louisiana recently cut so much money from the higher education budget that I'm surprised the school is still running. I would love to see my nieces become AOIIs if that's what they wanted to be. I'd go to their initiations in a heartbeat! I'm not having kids, so that's as close as I can come for this question. :p

Even then, I wouldn't really care what school they went to... It all depends what specifically they'd want to study.

I would love for my sons to become SigEps. If I have daughters, it'd be cool if they married SigEps. Or I'll get them pinned somehow. :P

The goal is a 100% SigEp family lol.

This works out for us because our son can actually pledge SigEp at Georgetown.

Score one for the I-x1 family.

Alma Mater.... I'd love, love, love to have my (some day) daughters in my Sorority, but the Alma Mater bond would be a bigger one to share, and one their dad would enjoy (much more than me) too. There are so many Wisconsin things I love and would love to share.

I loved the Greek Community at Wisconsin, so I would be able to enjoy sharing that experience. I'd also still get to do sorority things with my daughter, such as the Alumnae Panhellenic Brunch, Mom's Weekends, and Homecoming Activities.

Finally, I think they can find the values I found in my sorority in nearly any sorority, but a good education is extremely important to me, and I know they'd get that there.

In all reality, I don't care too much, as long as they don't go to Minnesota or Michigan. :)

Alma mater, alma mater. Brown, not Columbia.

Greek Life has been more important to me as an alumna than it was as a collegiate. Also, it wasn't that big a deal when I was actually in school. Sharing Brown traditions with a mini-Munchkin is more important than sharing AXO traditions.

I still like you. I just hate all Michigan fans (including future brother-in-law).

It's a really, really good school, so I know they'd get a good education there. (I'm not saying that about the other one though :p)

I just wouldn't pay for football tickets.

Some of the brothers from my chapter and region get together every year to watch the games, but the big game we're always waiting for is Michigan-Notre Dame. I've had dreams and daydreams about this game lol
