been cursed out or called out of my name (to my face...).
had my hair dyed.
met my father's parents or my mother's father.
owned a pager.
broke a limb.
raised my voice to my parents.
cursed in front of my elders.
been to Disney World.
dated a white person.

I've never, ever, ever
 

Been in a fight
Eaten chitterlings or extra pig parts(don't care how good they taste, if they smell that bad when cooking them, I AINT EATING THEM!! :mad:)
Seen all of the Color Purple or Roots (Yes, I am Black!)
Learned how to double dutch
Learned how to cornrow hair
Been to west of Ft. Hood, Texas
Had homosexual relations (or desires)
Broken a limb
Had my tonsils out (but I need to get them out)
Been to the Carribbean
Eaten caviar (baby fish! :()
Fired/held a gun
Lived in the Projects
never gone to wal-mart, with money, and not walk out without a bag (or four)

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, my family had a discussion about movies, food, toys, stuff from the 80s and 90s...It just made me think of all the things I've never...

1. seen The Color Purple
2. seen Jungle Fever
3. played with my Little Pony
4. eaten greens
5. eaten pork chops
6. enjoyed a milkshake
7. enjoyed macaroni and cheese
8. smoked anything
9. liked DL Hughley
10. seen a sitcom as good as The Cosby Show
11. kissed a man in front of family except my hubby
12. not gotten out of a traffic ticket

Well, I've never:

1. owned a new car
2. come home to visit my family in MS w/o prompting from Grandmama since moving to Michigan

3. passed a college math course on the first try
4. been to Las Vegas, or anywhere on the West Coast (will be going out there July 04!! :D)

5. charged things on my credit cards and paid the balance in full at the end of the month (that may change, however)

6. maintained a friendship with any of my exes
7. been to either of my HS proms or any other dances in HS
8. celebrated Christmas or Easter until I married Hubby
9. been in regular classes in school (always gifted/talented or advanced placement classes)

10. seen Harlem Nights (just taped it off Black STARZ! and haven't seen it yet)

11. spent my college refund checks on frivolous items
12. gotten everything that I wanted for Christmas or my birthday or Mother's Day

1) Met my father.
2) Met my brother and sister.
3) Seen Mo Betta Blues.
4) Been to California or any state west of Missouri.
5) Won anything off the radio.
6) Been skydiving, bungee jumping, or anything like that.
7) Watched the West Wing.


(That's all i can think of....it's not that my life is so exciting, but i think i have tried a little of everything once....oh yeah....)

8) Never smoked tobacco, weed, crack or done any recreational drug.

Been mugged (by the grace of God).
Had a job that I absolutely loved.
Wanted to be a teacher.
Been to the Grand Canyon.
Been out of the country (Canada doesn't count, to me).
Been interested in Harry Potter.
Been to a black church that let out "on time," whatever that is. :D
Been in love at first sight.
Been dumped (Gotta do it first, ladies. ;) I'm ignant!).
Seen Thelma & Louise.
Missed an episode of Martin.
Eaten my sister's cooking. :eek:
Dated more than one guy at a time,... Wait a minute? Not seriously, anyway.;)
