Yes, Lots-a-heart, you are right, Amber Brkich is an Alpha Gamma Delta from Westminster College in PA. Though she has been getting mixed reviews about her association with Jerri Manthey, her Westminster sisters faithfully watch her every week at a local bar & grill (no alcohol is served of course). It got so popular that they began charging admission, and all proceeds benefit the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation!

I haven't seen the new Paedagogus yet. We ordered some for our new freshmen, but haven't gotten them yet. The cool thing about Chris Klein though, is that he is an active, and I believe he was famous before he joined. Most, if not all, of the others in the list became famous after the fact.

From every interview I have ever seen of Britney Spears - she has stated she would have liked to attend college but decided not to.

I think that many of you are missing some basic knowledge about Britney's image...

She is *NOT* the one with the control over what she wears. As a music business student, I can assure you that when you see her in public, her publicists and image makers (managers, agents, the record company she works for, etc.) have told her exactly what to wear and the proper way to act to portray the image they're trying to have her keep.

Actually...I was in Destin on vacation at the same time her and her family were and she wears that kind of style (or lack of) even when she isnt performing or giving interviews.

Ok, since apparently this is now "Brittany Spears Chat" I will add the rumour I heard....Apparently I heard that her younger sister will be attending LSU along with her cousin. Not actually Brittany...but who knows.

KarenC725 11-20-2001 10:26 AM

I can't believe I'm actually responding but..Britney's sister is like 11 so I don't think anyone will be rushing her anytime soon.

since when did christianity require clothing??? just asking...if you consider yourself a christian...i think that you are the one that is the "hypocrite" by not accepting her "as-is"...as god made her...without clothes...:)

Any wrestling fans? Remember Bobby "The Brain" Heenan? His daughter was a pi phi at Alabama. I think that's as close as we've come. (Until I become famous that is :))

Wine&Blue 11-20-2001 10:43 AM

Oh and I've been hearing the Britney/LSU/Chi O rumor for several years now. Kinda far fetched to me. Would YOU attend college and pledge a sorority if you were as busy as her? She didn't even attend high school for the last two years, so COLLEGE? I doubt it.

Jen :-)

Hate to be the one (possibly) to break the news, but Betty Crocker does not exist/not a real person.

I know this is an ancient post, but could someone please tell me what is meant by "even a DZ"? Is this a compliment? A slam? A typo?

Sarah, you're partly correct.

To clear up any misconceptions: Betty Crocker was not a Delta Zeta since she (Betty Crocker) is actually a promotional advertising character created in 1921. HOWEVER, Mercedes Bates, a Delta Zeta alumna from the University of Oregon, was the first woman corporate officer of General Mills. Ms. Bates was often referred to at the company as "Betty Crocker" as she was the Vice President in Charge of the Betty Crocker Division. She was President of the American Home Economics Association and its foundation and was the 1970 Delta Zeta Woman of the Year. :)

alot of hatas walking around in here on Britany Spears

if you keep on hatin...that just fills up her pockets a little more. remember when people hated on madonna??? she blew up.

i personally like her, there are plenty of hypocrites that claim to be god fearing that are fully dressed.

that is my cents....
