We had 13 inches at 9pm last night. Haven't gone out yet this morning for a new measurement, but it's still snowing!!

And I'm really jealous of all that sunshine at Universal!!

XAntoftheSkyX 12-20-2009 09:52 AM

ATM it's still snowing on Cape Cod, and so far it's around the 2 feet mark.

Xylochick216 12-20-2009 10:23 AM

We have about 22 inches in Central Virginia. Our cars aren't getting out for a few days, and our road doesn't get plowed because parking is all on-street and it's a minor road. Looks like I'm working from home next week! We didn't even get our newspaper this morning!

UofISigKap 12-20-2009 11:37 AM

My parents, who are from Chicago, were making fun of me last night because the news was reporting 6" officially for Richmond. They LIE!! We got significantly more than that (or at least we did in the 'not really IN the city but the outskirts of town' part).

Down here in SE Ohio we have about 5 inches.

We ended up with less than one inch. Although, the roads were slick this morning. I would rather have snow than the slick ice, which is most likely what we will get over the next few days.

Harry,
No hooking up with Snow White. You might turn into a dwarf.

DaemonSeid 12-20-2009 01:08 PM

I have never been so happy to have my Jeep as I am today. :) But check with me again tomorrow morning after I pretend to get out.. lol

AnatraAmore 12-20-2009 05:52 PM

About 20 inches total. Ugh. My dog got lost in the snow when he went out earlier...

nikki1920 12-21-2009 05:28 PM

<-- is mad because she had no one stuck in the house with her.

*sigh*

Once upon a time, I lived in Northern VA and worked for a trade association. We followed the federal government's schedule, so a good snow would close the office.

But every time it snowed, inevitably, my family in PA would get WAY more snow than I did. That made me sad, cause I love snow.

Now, I live in PA again, north of my family, in fact.

Storm totals:
DC/VA - 2 feetish
Family - 1 footish
Me ... two inches

I'd be willing to bet my old coworkers won't go back to work til after Christmas.

At my office in McLean, we had a "Liberal" snow day today. You could come in 2 hours late, gratis. If you didn't show, you took a vacation day or an excused day without pay. Glad I was planning to work from Ohio today, as it was. Many of my coworkers couldn't get their car up the hill into the parking lot.
