Pretty sure I just cried for a fictional fraternity.
RIP Greek |
You aren't the only one!
|
I actually cried through the entire second half. Good ending. Bittersweet, but good.
|
I missed it tonight because of sorority events. Too bad twitter ruined Cappie's real name for me, haha.
|
Didn't watch the past season. How did the series end?
|
No tv show or movie has ever made me cry but I did when KT went down. I think some of the cast was actually crying...it didn't look like acting. (But I would be too when my 4 years of awesomesauce job went poof.)

So sad!!!!!! I'm going to miss you, Greek!
|
I didn't get misty-eyed, but watching Casey & Cappie load up her car and drive away reminded me of when I left school. My family had come down for graduation and my sister spent the night with my ZTA friends. She and I loaded up my car with what was left in my dorm room, the guys from the chapter who were still there came by and some ZTA friends to say good-bye. My sister didn't think we were going to ever leave, because I kept driving by the Sigma Chi house, the dorm, the Church of Christ student center, etc., "just one more time" before I could drive away.

I cried through the whole thing. In the proces of graduating so it's kinda close to heart!o

Tearing down a house-really?
I have to say "Boo" on ABC Family with keeping crappy shows on and getting rid of Greek. Also, I felt as though tearing down the house was worse to see than if they had killed off a character.
My fiance said that he thinks there may be more episodes in the works just because the way it ended. He said, "Think about it-they could do a whole season of Rusty getting a new house and later the bad guy (former brother) will feel bad about his actions and buy them a whole brand new house." It's wishful thinking on my part. I have to admit that the one thing that bothered me about this season was how much they harped on Greek life only being important in college. I was really hoping Casey was going to go work for her Headquarters since she talked about loving ZBZ so much. As soon as it ended, I expected SOMETHING like a "this show was dedicated to" or SOMETHING. It went straight to Pretty Little Liars and I was so disappointed. I got teary-eyed watching KT get torn down, too. Wow, I love that show more than I want to admit. Greek was a great show! |

I like how you put it...that tearing down the house was worse than them killing off a character. That hit the nail on the head. |
I wish there were more episodes, but sadly none have been filmed. But they did leave it open for Rusty to take charge if they wanted to bring it back or do one of those ABC Family original movies. Here's to hoping there's more Greek.

It actually did pretty well in ratings and has a definite fan base. I think the reason ABC Family cancelled the show was because of the lower ratings season 3 received. It wasn't doing as well as some of their other shows, like Secret Life. With Pretty Little Liars becoming a major favorite and with all the new shows they've got coming out this summer, I wouldn't be surprised if the main reason the show was cancelled was to free up funds for PLL, Secret Life, and their new shows.
Personally, I don't think any of their new shows look promising. I also think their shows are terrible, except for Greek and PLL. Two of the new shows sound pretty much the same to me... Take a look: http://abcfamily.go.com/site/news-de...ule/728709?574 |

Yeah, you're not the only one. |
ME TOO!
It was heartening to have Rusty say what being in a fraternity meant to him...after all, that's what we are saying on GC! I can see why it ended at least for some of the cast. I think that they have done everything they could with Casey, Cappie and Evan...although I was "kinda" thinking Casey and Evan would be together. Boy, does KT bring back memories of the guys on my campus. Cappie reminds me of someone but it is driving me crazy that I can't remember who! |
