Are you kidding!?!?! My Big Sisters don't even let anyone TOUCH the letters (even if they're just on a sticker or a piece of paper or something) much less have anyone WEAR them...even if it's their biological families or husbands.
I can't even imagine what would happen if they were to witness that...
I know that when they want to get rid of their para they either cut them up or burn them...or donate them to the chapter.

Here is another "What are you thinking!!!" story.
We had a dance a year ago and the shirts were a little wild.. they were tye dye. Anyway, one of my sisters was at work one day and a girl came in with our shirt on. My sister FLIPPED OUT!! It turns out one of the dates that had been given a shirt gave it to his new girlfriend because he didn't wear it and she thought it was cool. Needless to say none of us did. Those are our letters... only we know the significance and we love our sorority too much to just let random people wear them.
The girl was approached in a non confrontational way and asked where she had gotten the shirt and all. She copped an attitude and all, so we called the guy that gave it to her and he said whatever... and he is in a fraternity!!! You would think he would understand!! She has been seen again not too long ago wearing the shirt and was again approached and this time we asked her to please return the shirt to our house and her reply was "Just give me a bid and then I can wear my damn shirt". We were not too happy... I really don't know how to handle the situation. Any ideas?
