Pirates....

Oh and AKA_Monet... throughout the Star Trek series, people of higher rank were getting it on with the others....so that didn't surprise me one bit...

In TOS they did not due to the times of filming and censorship--the fish stopped moving when Cap'n Kirk rolled in... LOL... As for TNG, DS9 and Voyager series, oh yeah, EVERYBODY got busy... I often wondered if Data's stuff vibrated and rotated?

DH and I went to see Star Trek in IMAX last night.

No. No no no. No no no no no no no. It took long-established Star Trek canon, gang-raped it, and then poured sugar into its antimatter chambers.

And, cliche much? You've got the woman giving birth in the middle of a crisis, Kirk running into the cave where Spock just happened to be waiting for him, the ground falling out from under Amanda just a split second before the transporter could lock onto her, OMFG.........

RIP, Star Trek canon. :(

Its not based on canon.

it's a reboot.

Did anyone else buy it?

I've watched it like 4 times now. LOL.

I'm definately looking forward to the next one, but I guess JJ Abrams said that they wouldn't be releasing until 2012 and that just sucks.

I just bought it myself. It was a pale experience compared to seeing it on an imax though.

I didn't get to see it at the Imax, just at a regular theater.

Saw it at the big Imax dome at the Liberty Science Center. That was amazing.

I got it on blu ray as well.

I'm loving how movies look on blu ray!

I bought it (not on blu ray though, I feel left out! haha)!

I'm also the only one of my friends to actually figure out where R2 was without having to google it first.

With all the blu ray commercials, I'm curious. How different is blu ray from dvd and what's the difference?

Well it depends on your player and your TV but baiscally in most cases, the Blu ray tends to look a lot more crisp and has a more robust sound than standard def. DVDs.
