LOL I love the way the guys in Mission Control are all watching the band. And that the band is performing against a background of a fake Mission badge.

The beginning with the asteroid is funny. Then his scream at the end. LOL. I like that song.

Ya know, you guys can chat with each other about the asteroid or whatever you want, because I don't want to talk about it anymore.

This may be the purest and, out of context, the funniest flounce post I've ever read.

I feel like 9/10 times I go into a thread, there is Cheerfulgreek "drama."

PiKA2001 03-03-2009 08:35 PM

In all seriousness, is anyone else disturbed that with all of the telescopes and amateur "asteroid hunters" around the world this one was discovered only THREE days before passing us? Not to mention NO mention on the interwebs about this thing until after it had safely passed, which leads me to believe that if we were in a real life Armageddon, we would all be in the dark.

That song is horrible, I like Aerosmith a lot too.

Is Armageddon the one where Morgan Freeman is the President?

Anyway, regarding cheerfulgreek, if it isn't the same 3 or 4 greekchat morons catering to her, she will claim that we're ganging up on her when she says something stupid.

Otherwise, I think we do pretty well having conversations around here.

To quote the great Dan Truman, "Well, our object collison budget's about a million dollars a year. That allows us to track about 3% of the sky, and begging your pardon sir, but it's a big-ass sky."

Nope. That's Deep Impact. And that one's a comet.
