I can't find the article but basically, her 'truth' was debunked. EVERY vice presidental candidate in modern times has had at least a modicum of foreign policy experience as congressman/senators, other federal government experience or international business executives. If I can find it, I will post the link. She LIED again!

Ok, so I just finished watching the other Palin-Gibson interviews. I've figured it out. She just talks around EVERYTHING and does not answer ANYTHING directly. You gotta love it. Sure, she's ignorant of world affairs but she's also just kind of illogical in general and not very swift. If I wasn't actually listening to what she was saying, I'd think she nailed every question. Instead, I was dumb enough to listen and just got all confused.
For example, in one interview, she says that earmarks shouldn't be allowed (an absolute ban such as that supposedly endorsed by McCain). Then after Gibson points out that she took earmarks even in 2008 in Alaska, it was, earmarks should only be allowed if they are done in the public eye. Then, it gets worse. She admits that even though Congress gave her 200M for the bridge to nowhere, which is what one of the earmarks was, she decided not to spend it on that and to spend it instead on other stuff. So first she advocated for the bridge and went through the trouble of asking for earmarks. Then after she successfully got millions, she changed her own sweet mind and decided to do otherwise, thereby not even following through on the whole thing. You gotta love this lady. I wonder if she even knows how crazy she sounds. Ok, let's do another random example. Um, just picking one out of my head, does she believe that Roe v. Wade should be overturned? She says yes, then she says that that is her *personal* opinion but never goes on to say if she has a say, *public official* opinion. So what does your personal opinion have to do with it? And why keep stressing that it's your personal opinion if you haven't bothered to put forth any other types of opinions. The takeaway is that the personal opinion is the same as the public official opinion dumb dumb. Therefore, by logical deduction, there is no need to keep stressing the word "personal." Unless of course, you just want to confuse everyone by seemingly lessening the harshness of your stance by implying that there might be another opinion out there. Ok, another one (i've just had a cup of coffee). She is pro life, pro life, blah blah blah, no stem cell research b/c it would mean creating a life just to kill it, blah blah blah. Then 2 minutes later Charlie asks her and she proudly states that she is a life member of the NRA and believes that there should be no ban on semi-automatic weapons. The problem here is that semi-automatic weapons are not used for animals, stupid. They are used to kill *people*. Presumably the same species that you are so pro-life for. Ok, the natural logical conclusion is that your stance on semi-automatic weapons would imply that you really don't value human life that much. Yes, dumb dumb, anyone with an ounce of logic would come to that conclusion. But you are slooooooooow so you missed it and put your foot in your mouth. I only wish that Gibson would have nailed your behind to the wall on it. I think that this conflict between being pro-life but being against a ban on semi-automatic guns is the kind of thing that many Republicans have jumped on board with not realizing how contradictory the whole thing is. This leads me to believe that there must be another basis for the pro-life stance that women, in Palin's "personal" view, shouldn't be allowed to abort even in cases of rape and incest b/c it obviously it not b/c she loves the human species so much. Perhaps she, and many other Republicans, just want to control the lives of others? The same way that they balk when told that they might not be able to have semi-automatic weapons, right? Then, it's well, the states should control it. The idiocracy of that stance is that, isn't the state the *government* too? So wouldn't it still be the government controlling abortion? What does it matter if it's the federal government or the state government? The leave it to the states thing that Palin is touting just doesn't make sense, unless of course, you are the governor of a state and can use your influence to prevent legal abortions in your state. I haven't thought this out. Maybe one of my fellow legal eagles can help me here. If state A allows abortions but state B doesn't does state A have to allow everyone that comes into their state from next door to have the same "rights and privileges" as their state? Does a privileges and immunities issue arise? I'm sorry, I've gone off into the kind of in-depth analysis that Professor Obama actually taught us to engage in. Silly me. Re Palin, this is what happens when you're simply repeating what you have been trained to say whether it answers the question or not and whether it conflicts with the previous answer or not. The McCain group needs to get on their game b/c they aren't preparing her to appear ready for the VP position very well. We need to make sure that we vote b/c many Republicans will vote for ANYONE just so that they will not lose to Democrats. We saw it with the re-election of Bush even though many of them hated him by 2004. SC |

How on EARTH did we miss the ULTIMATE trumpcard we've been handed on a silver plate?
This was found this on Democratic Underground. http://www.democraticunderground.com...w_all&address=... How on EARTH did we miss the ULTIMATE trumpcard we've been handed on a silver plate? We don't have ENOUGH MONEY to fix Social Security We don't have ENOUGH MONEY to fix Medicare We don't have ENOUGH MONEY to provide health care to ALL Americans We don't have ENOUGH MONEY to help out Americans losing their homes We don't have ENOUGH MONEY to help all our veterans returning from war BUT We DO HAVE ENOUGH MONEY to bail out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac We DO HAVE ENOUGH MONEY to bail out Bears Stearns We DO HAVE ENOUGH MONEY to bail out AIG We DO HAVE ENOUGH MONEY to pay for an unnecessary TRILLION DOLLAR war When the LITTLE GUY needs help, they scornfully say, "GET A JOB!" But when of their BIG GUY CRONIES need a bailout, what do they say? SURE, NO PROBLEM. Where's the checkbook? Things that make you say......hhhhmmmm... |
Tom Joyner is also pumping his 1-866-MYVOTE1, a national registration center which then forwards the registration information to the state of the caller.
I would suggest anyone using this method follow up with a call to your local Board of Elections. I've heard several people call in and say they've had "issues." Don't know if issues were on the Joyner side, or possible "trickeration" at the Board of Election. Whatever method you choose, verify it before the Oct. 6 registration deadline. |
I wanted to post this because I haven't heard about it in the news yet. There was an anti-Palin rally in Alaska and the following link was emailed to me.

When Palin's friends from Alaska were being interviewed on a news show, they had the nerve to say that they were still undecided on who they were voting for. Now if Palin can't count on her own friends, why would anybody else be down with her.
