So, we have a figurine collector, a model car collector/diorama builder, and a dollhouse collector/seller (me). Does anyone else have something really cool that you collect/display? |
I kind of collect Dunnys. What's a Dunny you ask?
These are Dunnys I have about 30 or so right now and there are literally hundreds that have been designed. I have a set of the Azteca set that they put out a few years ago so I'm kind of stoked that they are making an Azteca 2 set. One thing I love about them is that they are blindbox so you never know if you'll be getting that typical 3/25 figure or that uber rare 1/500 figure. |

What's your "geek" dream?
Okay, so I'm starting a thread within a thread.
What's your geek dream? Meaning, what's something that you're so passionate about that could become a reality. Kind of like a possible realistic geek fantasy? Something that you've never done, but have always wanted to do, or something that you've never seen, but would like to see? You can only choose one thing. What is it? Well, everyone knows my fascination with astronomy, astrophysics, and astrobiology, so I have a whole list of things, but since we can only list one, I'm going to say to be able to find an Earth like planet. I'm not saying there has to be intelligent life forms there, but just a planet similar to Earth. Well, I've always been excited about Gliese 436B. I'm so excited about that planet that I'm almost jumping out of my clothes. It's just that we still don't know if Earth is a common occurring planet, or a 1 in a billion freak. Gliese 436B looks like a Neptune sized Earth and it's warm enough for liquid water. I mean, it's not like our water because there's so much of it, but it's still liquid water on the surface. That would be a dream to be able to send a space probe that could land on its surface. What would we see? :) |
To see man fly.
