How disgusting to tease "life-changing decisions" to generate higher ratings. Their priorities are seriously wrong. I used to watch the show, so I'm interested in what happens to them (and hoping for the best), but I can barely stand to watch the commercials now. It feels just like watching someone you know fight with their spouse...very uncomfortable! And sad.

This morning on a local tv morning show in the philly area they indicated that Monday's show would reveal that the couple plans to divorce. Not sure if thats true or just a way to get ratings.

I know the "news" has already been broken, but I'm still watching the episode and it is the saddest thing ever to watch.
Their interviews were so weird to me. Lots of passive-aggressiveness going on. (i.e. "I wanted to move the houses closer because I wanted to do the right thing for my kids, but didn't want to rock the boat because I KNOW everything turns into a huge blow-up with him nowadays"). I just really feel for all those kids. Divorce is no fun. So sad. |

Did anyone else notice the exchange between Jon and Kate during the umbrella tag team at the Mother's Day brunch? He was at the back passenger door of the van with a large umbrella, and she was getting out of the front passenger door with her umbrella. Their umbrellas became tangled.
In the old days, she would have said something like, "Jooonnn, get your umbrella off of mine!" Then turned to the camera guy with, "Tsk, he is such a moron with an umbrella!" Today, the exchange was a polite, "Oh, we're caught,etc" and no irritation or sarcasm. Too bad that lesson was learned too late. I really wish they could spend some serious time and money in therapy instead of divorce lawyers. It is really sad... |
It seems like they are realizing alot of thingss about their relationship, but it's a "too little too late" kind of thing.
Like, he seems to see now that he was too passsive, and she sees that she was ridiculously domineering. Too bad they didn't see it before. I keep saying the same thing, but I just feel so badly for those kids. Divorce is crappy enough, but it's awful that they have to deal with the whole thing playing out in the media. |
