I'm a freshman at the University of Richmond and will be rushing this spring (starting Monday, January 12th).

Hey all. I'm rushing this fall at Clemson. I'm kind of nervous because I am a transfer and do not know alot about the process. How important are recomendations (the registration web site said it was not important but I don't know if it is true). If anyone has any tips at all I would totally appreciate it. Thanks so much! :)

Well, I don't know about Clemson, but for general rec questions look here and here.

I believe the general idea is that no matter the school a rec will help you.
