Well, in the year 1969, a new alphabet was started, mainly the MU alphabet. It was almost finished, yet there were 4 letters left, Mu Phi through Mu Omega, when the year was done. Starting with the chartering of Mu Alpha at West Chester University on January 11th and ending with the chargering of Mu Phi at University of Corpus Christy on Novenmber 22nd. To make a long story short, there were a total of 21 chapters chartered in 1969. :)
