And I think he should cut his hair a bit - it's a little too long. And it doesn't seem he's used to his new teeth (which are a bit too bright!). And did he seem high or something to anyone else? He just was acting a bit weird/awkward when talking to Ryan.

I agree... he does look better. But it still isn't "him". His hair was too Josh Groban for my taste, and his teeth, while better, are a bit too big and bright. I think he's still looking for the look that suits him, and who knows if he'll ever find it. At least he's making progress!

I love Elliot Yamin, but his hair is horrible. I understand he's trying to find his nitch but the hair isn't it. I'm upset that Melinda is gone because she has THE BEST voice of the 3 reguardless of what she looks like. She's going to have a luxurious career. I will not be watching the finale but I'm sure I will hear about it...:mad:

Whoa. Missed the show last night. What happened that made them give those looks?

Princess Jordin singing the coronation song. Put it this way, this year's song makes "A Moment Like This" sound like a masterpiece of modern music.

I thought Jordin sounded terrible last night but the judges were kissing her butt. I thought Blake sounded horrible as well.

This season was the worst one yet. I really hope they make some changes for next year or else they're going to lose a lot of viewers. I use to be an AI junkie but I didn't even realize the finale was on last night until I flipped through the recorded shows on my DVR and saw it. I fast forwarded through all the garbage - including a bunch of Blake's and Jordin's songs. I just couldn't listen to them butcher another song.

I am excited that "So You Think You Can Dance?" starts up again on Thursday. I like that show more!

They do. But last night was the "finale" because it was their last performance.

I don't get the looks in the pic. She wasn't flawless, but she sang that cheesy ass song pretty well. Heck of a lot better than Blake. Seriosuly, Blake doesn't have a very good voice at all. Did he hit any of the high notes in that Maroon 5 song? And that's supposed to be "his" genre.

Horrible finale, though. Boring. There was one good point...
They didn't bring out the gospel choir for the final song!!! :rolleyes:

ETA: Don't get me wrong, I luvs me a good gospel choir, but I've always thought it was really dumb to use in all the Idol finales.
